I would say Balto, Because in a part of the movie Boris said, "A dog cannot make this journey alone, but maybe a wolf can" and Balto did make the journey he found the dog team by himself and he was the lead dog, pluss he howled when the white wolf howled to him, pluss he's paw fit just right with the white wolf's paw print.

No it still doesnt prove whos more wolf; the only thing keeping Balto from getting shot is hes a town hero for saving the children of Nome, if he hadnt saved Nome then he would be considered game to that hunter, just like Aleu.

And even if he didn't get shot, he was not wanted by anyone in the movie, mostly Rosie's dad, until he became a town hero, I doubt that you would shoot a town hero, pluss Balto never wandered around alone in the woods!

JazzyWolf wrote: Well . . . this one can be argued either way. Physicaly Balto was more wolf, as he was half wolf, and Aleu was only 1/4 wolf, but plot wise it can be said that Aleu is more wolf, as she ends up leading a wolf pack while Balto lives with the dogs of Nome, and seems to have little contact with the wolves. So I guess it can work either way really.
Yeah i agree with that, but Aleu was too stuborn still. I do not think she had wanted to be a 'real' wolf at all, until she saw it as a 'destiny'. If her father had not come after her, do you think she would have joined the pack? She would have gotten killed by the bear, and if she survived that, who knows what the pack and Niju could have done to her

why would a quote from the movie make a difference? He could've said that to Aleu too.

I think it is aleu because unlike balto aleu is a wolf pack leader.
