I know that the sequels to movies aren't all that popular, but I want to know what sequel or prequel is a worthy movie in your view out of these choices. (or ones you like that I didn't list in the poll)

I like Wolf Quest myself, but TLK2 and Bambi 2 are also pretty decent.

You should have included Balto 3.
I have seen The emperor's new Groove 2 (Kronk's new groove) recently, and I must say it is really good, nearly as much as the original.
Tarzan 2 is average, and Jungle book 2 is the worst DTV film I've ever seen. Lady & the tramp 2 is good but very classic, it really hasn't anything original to it if you've seen a Lion king 2 or Balto 2.

I agree with Steet: you should have included Balto 3.
There are a lot of animated sequels out there - some are obviously better than others in different ways by animation quality, storyline, voice talent, and overall opinion.
It seems that if an animated movie gets a sequel, it is one (or a combination) of these types of stories:
- New adventure, same old characters: The characters from the first film go off on a new adventure to do something; most likely a couple of new characters are introduced, with a possiblity of a friendship or love relationship ensuing . . . .
- The offspring's tale: The most-known type; The main character of the first film has a child that is like himself/herself in likeness, personality, etc. and if he/she has other children, they look more like the other parent. The oddball child runs away, in the typical teenage style, hoping to figure out what they are: their strengths, weaknesses, and mainly, they discover a secret heritage; most of the time, they realize that they known what they were all along (Balto 2 is an exception to this: you all know what happens to Aleu, right?). Of course, the main offspring character could be like all of the others (like 101 Dalmatians 2), but it varies.
- Three tales in one: Similar to the first type, it has three separate stories put together by one certain event. The three stories seem like they belong on TV (were ideas for a failed television series), but they're each different with a different message or moral to each story. Basically boring.
- Midquel: This type of "sequel" that takes place during the original film and is usually an untold tale of things that took place. (for example, Bambi 2 is an example of this: the film takes place between after Bambi's mother dies and when he is grown up in the springtime in the original.)
--------------------------------
I have a lot of favorites, but the types that are three tales in one are usually the worst made sequels. I hope this is some useful information!

I haven't seen Bambi 2 yet, but as for the others: I think they all suck.

Except for Bambi and Mulan, yeah, I seen them all. I still stand by what I said.
