i don't think so...but i'm not sure either. she does look a bit like Aleu in color and facial features, but she doesn't seem to have the 'wolf attitude' if you know what i mean. who would take her out of the wild, anyway? not trying to trash your opinion, i'm just saying mine.

Hmm . . . Even though she does bear looks similer to that of Aleu, she really doesn't come off as a wolf in my opinion. Most of her body design seems to be more like that of a dog than of a wolf. Though a wolf being taken from the wild and being rasied as a sled dog would make a good fan fic.

I think that is mostly that the artists in the movie just felt that Aleu's design could be used again, and that it realy didn't matter.
But I don't think they ment to give Dusty a background story of being a wolf or anything, but let's see

-medium sized paws
-Has an owner
-is a mail dog
-Small ears
-long mouth
A wolf
-Cone shaped mouth
-A lot of Fur
-Eyes look like Aelu's in SHAPE only
-Strong for a female

Yeah, I don't think she was ever intended to be a wolf or even from the wild at all. But it was a good theory though. I think it would have been weird though if she was wolf, that would really make things interesting, seeing as how there is Balto (1/2 wolf) and Kodi (1/4 wolf) already living in Nome.

Silver Snow,I believe that you're forgetting one thing about Dusty,she has a strong mind,I'm saying that,because,what did she do when Kirby,Kodi,and Ralph were arguing?,she stepped in and broke it up.

but that doesn't really make her a wolf. she may be the same color as Aleu, but she doesn't have the features of a wolf, as Silver Snow explained earlier. she looks like a dog to me.

Are we gonna dispute about this topic,or are we gonna express opinions about why Dusty was taken from the wild?

we're not sure IF she was taken from the wild, but yeah, i'll shut up now. so, why do you think she was taken, and who do you think took her?
