Apparently its supposed to be a mystery the whole way through the book.
Im not to sure on the details of the book but i know its supposed to be really good.

Yech, the whole book is hidious because it has no historical foundation to it! It says that Jesus and Mary Magdalene get married and have a boy together. Not only is it blasphamous, it's a work of fiction. Da Vinci was so smart, he grew into a nut anyways. My advice is don't read it!

Yeah, dont read it if you have strong religious beliefs.

However, if your just in for the action and mystery, this this book is one of the must-haves. It may be confusing and hard to understand at first, but just pay attention to the story, and you'll get it.

I read it through, and it was amazing!! Can't wait for the movie!!

NO SPOILERS PLEASE!

Im christian but i was told that the Da Vinci code is supposed to be on some part of the bible that, when it was translated from the catholics, part of it was changed.
"the biggist cover up in all of history" was something i heard on the Da Vinci Code movie trailer
I don't know much more about the book except the cover is supposed to be a clue to one of the mysteries in the book.
Its killing me to read it!! :x

I never gave any spoilers...so don't yell at ME.

With that in mind, I'm gonna try to say this and be as vague as possible. I don't know where the movie got "the biggest cover up in history" part, unless the reader was lead to believe something that isn't ENTIRELY true.

I'm just saying that it's a real good book, but if your gonna read it just to find out where the Holy Grail is at the end (and maybe try to find it yourself XD), then you better find another favorite.

I am a Christian too, but I also read it, but one thing people have a hard time doing is keeping in mind that this is purely a fictional book.

XD Catholic. And proud of it, too.

You should never let stuff get to you, especially from books. People are soooo easily offended nowadays. Ah well. You can't waiver one's beliefs; espcially if their religious.

I wasnt yelling at anyone. I was just saying no spoilers. Kelev said something about what happened in the book.
And i DO know the book is fictional. I doubt anything in the book is true but i still want to read it!
The library has a 300 people waiting list. If i put my name on it now i wouldn't get it until. . . . 2007, maybe 2008

Try any book store. You may be able to get a used copy for a reasonable price of around $20
