I think we should because if the system is set up so that everything else updates when we want we should be able to change usernames when we want. as long as we tell steet and everyone else we are, and what we change it to, then there should be no issue.

I'm not for this. The main reason is that I know for sure, that some people will constantly be changing their usernames. And this is really annoying for the others, because then we never know who is who.
Be glad I'm doing exceptions and I sometimes change pseudo manually, because I had consider some time ago to not do it anymore because of some problems...

and i guess i should say my opinion while i'm at it. i don't think it's a good idea to be able to change our own usernames, because it becomes quite hectic and hard to know who's who (i think someone mentioned this before). i think we should keep it the way it is and let Steet handle the usernames.

I'm very much against it now also,because I went through 2 other name changes,before deciding to stay with the username Dusty Fanatic,but when I tried to go back to being Aleu_Dusty,a Moderator must have locked the topic.

I think here is problems (some what steet said is also included)

Starting from here:
-Some people makes all the time new user name what cause confusion
-Few ones might start to use really nasty names and smilo as a name
-Its hard to know who is who when ppl can hack names (checked with IPs but still)
-Someone can make complines from this kind of situations
-Not every mod can know who is who(might say same things!)
-everyone wants to change their name by the time

I think that Steet can be the only one who change user name! And I'm saying that its the best thing!

You just said you were against it in your last post here, why are you going back now and subtlely pressing that you should get to change your name?

No, there is no harm in changing names, but if you do it too much, it's a nuisance. Zorro the Coyote did it twice according to your post. One name and back to the original. If you were allowed to it'd be 3 times. Which is a "bit" too much in my opinion.

Let's let Steet decide the name change matter,if he says no,well,that's fine,but I'm gonna press the matter any further.

Well, if it's up to Steet's deciscion, I don't think you need to post requests for name changes anymore. I'm sure he knows you want a name change, considering how much you've asked him.
