Well I'm not so sure about this one (I couldn't find another same kind like this what I'm asking [or then I was just too lazy to search] but anyway)
What if there could be also 'The FanFic of the week'?
Also it works with VOTE system
So that some guys can send more better Fanfics to get on this list and as in theory there come more people in the fanfictions.
The place where to put the 'Fanfic of the week' can be under the FanArt of the week, or somewhere else like in Updates. Also when people votes there will be some problems.
But would this be good idea?
(either I know that it cause some problems like:)
-Someone might vote two times
-Someone's can disappoint when their ones will never get votes (not so sure that was kind of rude one)
-Few ones doesn't want to get the vote so there can be build some other system.
These are the some problems what I sorted out... This is only suggestion

Well...in theory it will get more writers in...and more ppl to read fanfics so that they can vote...also some of ppl votes only for those who example draws good and other stuff (either their fanfic could be boring still happens that...)

Was only suggest but could bring more members in to write. For now this site is more towards Fanart  But I'm not going to promise anything more those words were theory

Thinking it's hard parts
Well I get these things first in my mind:
-Most of ppl dont know how to make fanvideo
-Also it takes roof but still would work
-Someone's who are famous by drawing get votes(obviously if it works with vote system)
-And not for month I think only for week if I can repair

Don't wanna to blame you or steet.but this could copy Balto Central..with the month thing..but i guess cause the ideea could work!

Also BC is gone right now So it's not anymore so much of copying...I guess but still it does a bit of that...

I think the fan fic of the week/month sounds like a good idea. The fan video of the month . . . hmm, that would be a good one too.
I do agree that this would be a good way to get more fan fics/fan videos on the site, plus everyone likes to read a good story!

ESPECIAL when ppl has vote it as Week Fanfic! (fanfic of the month couldn't be so good idea...There is several reasons but not knowing them right away...)
