I don’t know how many of you have seen the exact trailer, since there are now so many The Lion King (2019) trailers and clips all over the place, but there was a scene released in which Mufasa tells Simba to “go play with the other cubs.” Now I don’t think we’ll be introduced to any new characters, but a thought crossed my mind once. What if we got to see Mheetu in the new movie? Of course, we won’t, but I thought it would have been a cool little addition if we had even just gotten to see a cub Mheetu playing in the background and having a non-speaking role in one scene. Note: I am just expressing a fun thought/idea. I don’t believe that we will actually get to see any new characters since Disney is staying true to the original film and it would be difficult for the writers to add in a new character who has no purpose in the story without changing the story.
