Has any one here ever been to see the Iditarod sled race? I really really want to go and watch it some time, but Australia is bit far away to be able to go and watch $$$ is my Biggest problem. If any one has been could you post your story and a few pics, to give me an idea of what its like? It would be really great, thanks.

i've actually gotten to mush a team of sled dogs!  it was really awesome.
Anyway, i really wanna go, but no, i've never been to one yet

what serious Balto fan wouldn't want to go to nome and watch the end of the Iditarod? I want to move to Alaska when I'm older, even if its a little cold.

I've heard of it and I've never seen it in person.
That would be a cool experience (no pun intended)! I don't mind the cold, so I'd probably fit in.
I think I wrote an article that mentions the Iditarod race (it's under Balto 3 on the main site). But it sounds interesting to see! Maybe one day, we'll all see it.
