Ok in the fight scene with the bear, the characters and voice actors were completely devoid of emotion. I mean its like the weren't acting at all, it was more like they were trying memorise their lines than actually acting. This gets my vote for the worst scene out of all three Balto movies...

Are you talking about the one in Balto or in Balto II? I thought the second bear fight was very rushed lasting only about 55 seconds while the first one lasted over ten minutes and I thought they did GREAT acting in the first bear fight! We're talking about Kevin Bacon and Bob Hoskins here, not the average actors you pick up off the street (which they mainly did in Balto II, I've never heard of the one who voiced Muk and Luk, I've forgotten his name!) :?

the voice of Muk and Luk is Phil Collins (the guy who sings the soundtrack for the movie Tarzan). and i agree, the second bear fight was kinda stupid and didn't sound very emotional. the first one was better because the bear actually looked like a threat and acted like one :wink:

Balto 2, thats why its in the Balto 2 section... Balto 1 had a good fight scene and good actors, Balto 2's fight scene was terrible...

Yes, that part in Balto 2 is one of the worst animated IMO (especially because we can compare it directly with the similar scene in Balto 1)

I wasn't talking about the first one, I was talking about the second! Since when do polar bears sound the mix between British and Austrailian, in the first one Phil Collins was great at making them sound like American goofballs, not that they are! :)

oh ok my bad. :wink:
yeah, i liked their voices better in the first one. Luk sounded so cute! ^^;

The voice acting was terrible in that scene, the actors really need to take into consideration there character and accually feel the emotions. If I was in that sound room recording the voicing I would have been embaressed for the actors they did such a bad job!
