Animation Source Forums

Hi,

Does anyone know if Disney plan to release the complete series on DVD in the UK? Only 33 out of 65 episodes were made available over here.

Similar problems with the other Disney Afternoon series... Gummi Bears hasn't been released full stop.

I'm glad you wrote the question on the forum, but I don't get any infos from UK about that lately. I've got the same problem with the Polish Talespin DVD. There came out only one box and there's no news about the further parts of it. But maybe it'll be done in the future. Who knows?

Hi! What's missing from the Polish set?

In Polish DVD set there are only 8 first episodes with the new dubbing version of Plunder and Lighting.

Were these the UK releases you picked up?

There is a third collection, in region 2 format, but is only available in Germany. It doesn't complete the set, as it ends at Bullethead Baloo, the episode Disney left off on the US Volume 2.

Also, I'm guessing you're aware of the omitted episodes from the Region 2 sets.
First Collection is missing "From Here To Machinery" and "Vowel Play"
Second Collection doesn't have "A Touch of Glass"
and the "released in Germany only" Third Collection is missing "Jumping the Guns"

I'm aware of those. It's just frustrating that no complete set has been released. It's the same for all the Disney Afternoon series on DVD - a complete mess!
