This is a private roleplay between me and MyLadyAmpora. It will mainly be focused on our two characters, Aibu and Oak.

Finally. Can you post first? I suck at starting a roleplay.

Aibu slowly opened her eyes. Realizing it was morning, she got up and yawned. She was about to leave the den to look for breakfast, but then remembered her mate, Oak. She walked up to him and nudged him with her nose. "Oak!" She said, rather quietly. "Wake up, Oak!"

Oak opened his eyes when he hear the sweet voice of his mate If she were another lion he would tell him to leave him alone, but not to her mate. He simply said, '' Yeah, yeah going... Five more minutes. He uttered the last in almost a whisper. Slowly he stretched his forelegs a little, but did not get up yet.

Aibu chuckled, then slowly walked outside. "Well, if you're too tired to come," She said, looking back at her mate. "I can try to get us some breakfast by myself."

In the blink of an eye, Oak appeared at the entrance to the cave. He always thought the worst: what if she went alone? And if someone hurt her? He would never allow it. '' I'm never tired. " He said, his voice hoarser than usual. His mind was still off.

"So you're coming?" She smiled. "You really don't have to if you don't want to..."

"I would never leave a lady alone out there. '' He confirmed, '' The world is a dangerous place. '' And it was. When you are a loner you do not know if tomorrow you will be alive to tell your story. He began to walk where his nose guided him to find food. '' Come on, kitten. Will you stay there? '' Oak chuckled.

"I'm coming," Aibu said, walking up to him. "It would be nice to sometimes go out on my own, y'know? I know it can be dangerous, but I'm sure I'd be fine."

He tried not to walk too fast so she could reach him and walk together. '' I know. . . '' He said and frowned slightly. Sure she was going to be okay. She was an adult lioness and she knew how to take care of herself after all, but there was always a small possibility of something going bad.

From the top of a small hill where they both were, gulls and zebras could be seen in the distance. The herds had not yet noticed the presence of both lions, the wind was in the direction of the lions.

"Let's go for the zebra," Aibu said, sinking down into the grass.

Oak remained silent and hid his big body in the grass, was waiting for some order from Aibu. Like, for example: What zebra they would hunt.

Aibu stared at the zebras for a while, then nodded her head in the direction of a rather old zebra. "The elderly one," She whispered.

When they finally chose a zebra, Oak came as close as he could to the zebra, and when it was close enough he jumped up to the zebra and bit one of its legs, preventing it from fleeing

Aibu jumped out as well. She dug her claws into the zebra and then bit its neck. Soon enough, it was dead.
