I noticed that Universal re-invented the wheel by creating the wolf trio, which to be honest were a wolf short of a pack. I think some of you will agree that if they are bringing back old characters, bring them back rather than employing the exact same sort of traites in a sub par character

Nah, I didn't like the Wolf Quest trio much at all. They didn't really look or act much like wolves. The original trio were waaaaay better.

i never really noticed the resembelece of the two trios.
sumac would be nicky's alter ego
nuk would be kaltag's alter ego
and
luk would be star's alter ego.

trios are common in almost to all stories. you have the 3 hyenas in TLK, 3 friends in Bambi, 3 friends in harry potter, and so on. i forgot why some people do it, i learned it in school a while back.
