This is really wierd

in my old school and alot of other people that i know think that balto is not real even when i show pictures of the real balto they say no he is just a cartoon this gets me real made i mean it says based on a true story on the cover no matter how much proof i give them they say no he is just a cartoon isnt this wierd what do you think

If your friends don't believe you,then they don't anything about Alaskan history.

Maybe they just think its a random photo of any old dog? Assuming you didn't provide any documentation with it. Perhaps theres a book you could get out on it, I've been told before by someone a published book has more validity than online stuff (to be honest thats not always strictly true though). But if theres no book then http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balto is a good place to start or other sites.
If you do show them documented proof thought and they still don't believe you, I agree with Kari to ignore them. As they would then obviously just be winding you up...
I don't see why they think you'd lie about this though....

i have even showed them books and i dont talk to them there not my friends ans since i changed schools i dont see them anymore but everyone in my class now knows i love wolves and balto every one calls me wolfey even my teachers lol

History is history and no one can change it, If no one believes that he doesn't exist then prove it by showing them on the internet, if that doesn't work then don't listen to them......

Its only a matter of time until they figure out that they are wrong it doesn't matter what they believe in, it is a matter of what history is

hmmm... If possible get them to see the documentry on the dvd. This should make them see, if it doesn't well they're just stubborn.

yeah, show them the picture WITH the documentary. or find a history book in libary. that might work well.

If your classmates don't believe in balto i bet they don't believe in world war 2 or George Washinton lol. Oh well. Balto was the first true story i ever knew.

that same thing happend to me once. I showed my friends a pick of him once. and they said, Balto isint real. he is just a legind. people tease me too. they say Balto freak balto freak. or why are you obbsest with balto.
