(Although, the better question is "SHOULD IT?!")

I've yet to see this film, but it's apparently successful, and already there is an article regarding the possibility of a Talespin movie following up after the Jungle Book sequel.
http://filmschoolrejects.com/features/should-the-jungle-book-lead-to-talespin.php

There's already been word of a Rescue Rangers movie since 2014, but nothing's been up to date on that since it was just pitched.
But for Talespin getting the same thing, would this be something your guys want?

Yes, I'd like to see the Talespin new movie or reboot of the series if it'd be available... I wish it'd come true. I'm also curious about the opinions of other users and fans of Talespin :D

Answer to the first question: Probably not. They have done Jungle Book stuff for many years before this and it never led to a remake of TaleSpin. It's a lot more likely to happen due to Zootopia's success since people are forgetting that Zootopia is nearing a billion dollars in sales; which is the highest for a full on furry film without humans in. However; they didn't care about in 1990; they don't care about it now.

Answer to the second question: No. TaleSpin should be made on it's own merits, not because of some success story; although Zootopia has helped this a lot.

Would I like to see a TaleSpin movie: Yes if it like Zootopia; no if it's like Jungle Book. Zootopia has demonstrated that you can make big bucks without having human beings in it. You just need excellent characters, good humor, great drama, a great story and great visuals. CGI has made such progress now that I can watch it like a hand drawn movie without being in the uncanny valley and still look great. Zootopia is the future and I can see a TaleSpin movie cross over with Zootopia in some form with the TaleSpin world being outside of Zootopia and Judy Hopps and Nick realize that Zootopia's problems are first world problems compared to the rest of the world. I can see the dollar signs in that. There's a lot they could do with this. It's just that Disney didn't care about TaleSpin in 1990 simply because it was deemed filler to the Disney Afternoon.

I would love it but I'm sure it won't. Talespin seems a bit forgotten by Disney and Jungle Book is a huge thing for them. And younger people or those who don't know about Talespin would propably be like "Why is Baloo flying a plane?" again.

Yeah i just came across this. Almost made a new thread

The director of that film rejected personally doing a TaleSpin reboot, but it wouldn't be his call whether others get involved. It should also be noted that Duck Tales is getting another season after all these years. I never waded into these what i saw as pipe dreams frankly by Spinners over the years, but i believe if it will ever happen, now is the time when Disney has both the incentive and seems open to reviving the early 90s shows. I could see a series or tv movie, but not in theaters. OTOH they could just as easily turn in a totally different spinoff direction, or Kit could be 35 and leading his own flight school or whatever

Should it happen? After so long, i have doubts they would stay true to the show. Not sure if anyone involved back then would be interested. However, if they could do it well, of course i'd love to see more. While yes, it would be due to this other movie's success, i always thought TS deserved a 2nd season

Maybe everything, I'm not even surprised that this can happen. This is normal practice in the film industry. I wish there were more movies based on books. I recently read "life is a dream" by Brian James, used https://freebooksummary.com/category/life-is-a-dream for this. Now, if a movie was made on it, it would be generally cool. I would immediately go to the cinema for a VIP seat.
