I was reading some old forums tonight. I mean really old forums... Like..2005 old, and reflected on just how cheap those darn plushies used to go for! $25 for Jenna? $19 for Balto? $3 FOR MUK? In these days, something would really have to be wrong with the toy to find it for that price. Well...no I don't think they'd get that low now. I badly soiled laying Jenna sold for like $40 on eBay last week. Someone is asking $175 for a sitting Balto with a rip in his leg. Uhh...you're joking right? I paid $100 for my sitting Balto, and he's in better shape. If people didn't go so nuts about them, I don't think prices would be so high. I myself just sold my sitting Jenna a couple weeks ago for $65 and haven't thought anything of it. It's a plush. Sorry...just felt it worth the rant..

I would like to suggest that it is simple supply and demand but to me that doesn't make much sense. There are always plush Balto toys available on the Bay but I wonder how many fans are left out there who will spend that sort of money on one? Going by the lack of activity on any online forums it would at first appear to be very little but on eBay there must be a wealth of fans out there! Perhaps we need to set up a Balto forum on eBay instead? lol
