Whats with the characters in WoC? and in WQ for that matter. They only show 5 characters from the original, 7 if you include the 2 seconds of rosie at the star of WoC and the wise dog Doc (maybe 3 seconds tops). Whats with that? Wheres the trio (Nikki, Kaltag and Star), Steele, Dixie and Sylie (or how ever you spell it), Rosie and the other primary humans? also where were are the wolves, i didn't see one wolf, minus Balto in the entire of WoC. If they are going to do another Balto movie their going to have to smarten the animation and voice acting, and bring back more characters from the original, or its going to be as bad as the land before time sequels and that would be most dissapointing.

i agree, i was dissapointed from watching WQ and never saw WoC. It's sad they didnt put any original characters besides Jenna Balto muk luk and boris

Yeah. They could have used characters from the original movie instead of inventing all of these new characters. WoC just didn't go anywhere for me, unlike Balto and WQ, and I'm going to keep those forever!

Well, I can't say I liked the fact that so few of the original characters were in the sequals. But Balto 2 was mainly focused on Balto's daughter whereas Balto 3 was more of Balto's family as a whole. I don't see how any of the original characters would..how'd you say...."fit in" with what's going on.

I love the first Balto and the second. WoC was good but it was too childish soft of, I mean they could of did a more exciting plot. I agree, they should of put in more of the original characters instead of putting in a whole bunch of new characters although I still think that we need to see more of Balto's kids. I mean, where was Saba, Dingo and the rest of Balto's kids in WoC?

I think they should rever back slightly to the original characters, there are becoming too many characters to keep up with and it is just getting to the point of stupidity, I mean keep a few of the new characters but include the original ones too, Universal seem to be forgetting bout them...

Yea it is dissapointing that they hardly ever show the charecters from the original but thats how most sequals are they change it for worse........atleast if you make a movie let it atleast have some of the original charecters along the story line not jump 2 or 3 years later.

I suppose they feel they served their purpose in the original. In a way it might be a good thing since they seemed to be pretty conclusive in their plotlines such as with Rosie, and adding much more to her story might muck up continuity eventually... But on the other hand certain characters would be good to bring back considering some new characters were pretty similar in their roles anyway...
But I guess creating new ones just makes it safer for them since they get to write them from scratch and create their own continuity that doesn't affect the original movie as much....
I'd like to see the original characters though, even Rosie, even if its just a brief moment.

oh, I noticed sylvie when they wee at that meeting, I guess you need the local gossip in a situation like that...

yeah I noticed that, but I couldn't tell and I dont have frame by frame on my dvd player...

call me whatever, but what is a cameo? Is that where a character appears for a short time, and has no dialogue?
