First of all, I want to mention that Kopa is a character from the Lion King books "Six New Adventures" who was Simba and Nala's first cub. He was never shown in the movies and the books came before this movie was released. I have some questions that need answers here.

1.The cub in the beginning of this film is actually different than the one in The Lion King 1's ending.
2.If Kopa is Kiara's older brother, then what happened to him between LK1 and LK2?

Most stories about him are fan-made and talk about him falling in love with Vitani or being killed by Zira or meeting this new cub.... and I just don't know!
If you know anything about him, please tell me.

Kopa Simply Has no other story other then in the Book Universe. Nothing is offical.

Kopa was not chosen for the sequel, when The Lion King II started to come out, they stopped printing off the books to prevent confusion over the two cubs, since by the book's cannon there was no daughter, just Kopa. But they wanted to make money off of the movie, soooo....yeah.

But fans who enjoy both cannons have made their own theories, such as Zira killed Kopa, making Simba upset at the other lions and such.
