When I came on a few hours ago, I found out to my shock the event I'm about to inform you of. NASCAR driver Jason Leffler was seriously injured in a sprint car crash during a race at Bridgeport Speedway in New Jersey. After the crash, the rest of the night's activities were canceled. He was 37. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nascar-fr ... 42662.html

I don't mean to be disrespectful, but RIP topics here tend to be for people who are...more important?
You know, Neil Armstrong, Michael Jackson, Steve Jobs...
I doubt anyone who doesn't watch NASCAR knows who this guy is, nor has he affected their life.

In more motorsport news, Dane Allan Simonsen was killed in a crash on lap 4 of this year's 24 Hours of Le Mans less than 18 hours ago. His GTE Am class Aston Martin went off at Tertre Rouge, through the barrier, and struck a tree. He survived the initial crash, but succumbed to his injuries a few hours later. He was 34. His death was the first at the 24 Hours of Le Mans since Sebastien Enjoras was killed in practice in 1997 and the first death in the race since Jo Gartner in the race. http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/108218http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/108217
