Plot: In another world, its almost identical to ours, only one big diffrence, humans are replaced by Pokemon, they form teams, challenge gym leaders, and fight their rivals in a journey accross Kanto. But an evil hearted Pokemon will seek to destroy them.

Journey. One simple word. Yet, it holds so much meaning to it for all kinds of Pokemon. Be the journey small or large, it changes Pokemon. Usually these journeys don't change Pokemon that greatly. Some times they do. This particular journey is about a group of Pokemon who formed strong bonds that made them into a family.
The journey all began with an Eevee named Erebus. He was like all other Eevees except for two facts. He was alone from the very beginning and he was a shiny so he was made fun of all his life due to these two things until one fateful day he stumbled upon the idea of leaving to go off on a journey. He did not know what kind of journey he was going to go on but he knew that it had to be better than his life right then and there. So that is where I will begin. . . . . .
Erebus was walking down a path that led to his new life and he had his head in the clouds thinking of what he will encounter on this journey of his but he knows whatever it is it will be a great change. While he was being distracted by his thoughts he ran into something and said without really paying that much attention to his surroundings "I am sorry. I wasn't watching where I was going." He then looked at what he ran into and seen that it was a Poochyena.

The Poochyena growled fiercely, spinning around. He wasn't a civilized one but wild. Wild Pokemon weren't degenerate or backwards, they simply PREFERRED to live in the wild like their ancestors did. To live a simpler life. That was what they saw fit...but not all.
However, the Poochyena saw the Pokeball hanging from the Eevee's necklace, as all civilized Pokemon who went on journeys had. "...You're on a journey?" he asked, his voice and accent a little rough, unrefined. It was clearly self taught. "...You're looking for a team?" he asked quietly, cautiously.

Erebus cowered in front of Poochyena when it growled but quickly regained his composure and responded "I am on a journey. Trying to start my life over. Why do you ask?"
He studied the Poochyena for a second and asked "Would you like to join me? I would rather not fight you and by chance force you to do something against your will but if you want to I have this Pokeball." He held up the Pokeball with one of his paws and continued saying "If you want to join me in this journey that I just started then all you have to do is touch it and it will 'capture' you but we would be a team. I will most likely challenge the gym that is down this road in the next town and you can help if you want to but if you don't then that is fine as well. I could use the friendly company." He smiled friendly to the Poochyena to try to convince it to join.

Poochyena calmly sniffed the Poke Ball, but didn't touch it. He gave it sincere thought. "...I don't like being wild, I want to live like you do...It just isn't for me out here..." he said quietly. "But I need to test you to see if you're worthy being my leader," he stated, taking a fighting stance. "How about a friendly battle? You win, I join. Does that work?"

Erebus nodded and said while smiling "Yes. I am good for that. Prepare yourself and I will let you make the first move." He got into a fighting stance and awaited the first move.

Poochyena nodded. After a few moments, he used Growl in an attempt to lower Erebus' guard, then jumped in with an attempted tackle.

Erebus was hit by Growl and his Attack power went down but he attempted to use Sand-Attack on Poochyena before trying to jump out of the way of Poochyena's Tackle.

The Poochyena yelped as the sand hit him in the eyes. He growled and tried to clear his vision before jumping at Erebus with another tackle.

Erebus studied the Poochyena and seen that he was having trouble seeing. He thought he seen an opening on the right side while the Poochyena was using Tackle on him and used Tackle trying to hit that one opening.

Poochyena yelped as he was hit and knocked to the ground. He got back to his paws and shook himself off, then charged for another attempted Tackle, this time missing the first one intentionally to launch another from behind.

Erebus was fooled by this tactic and was knocked to the ground and couldn't get back up no matter how much he struggled. He sighed to himself because of how weak he truly is and kept on trying till he got back up shakily. He then looked at the Poochyena and prepared an Iron Tail to counter the next move.

Poochyena had leapt for a tackle and took the Iron Tail to the head. He hit the ground hard and fainted.
