Over the course of our lives we have all done things that were either dumb or funny. If you want, you can share those stories here.

The Bacon

I believe it was during 2009 when I was home alone and decided to cook some bacon in the microwave. So I get out a plate, put the bacon on it, and pop it into the microwave. While I like my bacon crispy, apparently I was having a problem achieving that, because after several minutes I managed to burn the plate. XD The microwave spent the next couple weeks airing out.

Buttons are tempting...

When I was in Junior High, in the 7th grade (2008), I was in computer class, and the computer teacher was controlling our screens so we could see his to explain an assignment. Meanwhile, I wasn't paying attention and was messing around with a computer next to me that no one sat at. At first I kept popping the cover loose (there was a release button for it), and then, for whatever reason, decided to turn it off. So I press the button on the front to turn it off, and what a ya know, I crashed the server. He instantly knew who to blame too. lol I don't remember, but I don't think I got into too much trouble. This teacher had a good sense of humor, luckily.

Ice cream is messy

I don't remember what year this was, but It was a hot day, and I was staying with my friend. She and I walked down to the party store to buy some ice cream cones. She got hers and I got mine, and on the way back we ate our ice cream. I had gotten Blue Moon, and boy, let me tell ya, what a mess I made. XD There was this drip trail of blue ice cream on the sidewalk all the way back to her apartment, and it was all over my hands. Till this day she doesn't trust me with blue frozen desserts.

A+ for yelling at boys

Not really the funniest thing, but it was pretty awesome XD I believe this took place in the 6th grade (2006/2007). I was in gym class, and we were sitting in front of the teacher's desk waiting for some instructions or something, and this group of boys just didn't get it when he said to quiet down. While the rest of us were not saying a word, we were all just staring at this group (the people in it were idiots anyways, like most of the people in that school were). After a minute or so, I got irritated and shouted at them to shut up or something. Then the gym teacher said that deserves an A+! One of the boys, the one I hated most, ran up there and looked to see if he was serious, and he said "he actually did"!

Those are good, Mighty. So let's see what crazy stuff Jordan has done...

1994
I was a little over 4 years old and still lived at my grandmother's house with her, my mom and my uncle. She used to have a tiny garden thing with a ton of pansies right next to the door. It was the first spring that I could explore the yard on my own and well, when you are a little kid those plants can be effing scary. (I mean, look at them, really. XD) So I stood in front of those pansies and screamed as if someone's going to kill me. Took my mother quite a while to figure out what I was so scared of.
Oh and I still hate pansies, yes, I did get over my fear though XD)

Around 1995/1996
Mom came home from shopping and bought some new boots for me. I wanted to carry them inside so she gave them to me. So far, so good. What she didn't notice was I did put them onto the oven to "warm up". The oven was on fire so yeah... I melted them. Never get to wear the boots.

Around 2002/2003
(This one is quite similar to Mighty's story)
So me and a friend decided to melt some chocolate to put it into these things you usually make ice-cubes with. So we cut chocolate into small pieces and put that into a plastic cup thingy. Stuffed that into the microwave and let it do it's "magic" Little did we know the cup didn't work in the microwave. So we happened to melt it. Geez, I'll never forget that awful smell. No chocolate cubes for us and time for a new microwave because we kinda ruined the old one.

2008

I was walking down the hall at school right behind my biology teacher (Didn't notice that) as some dude who was a few years older than me yelled some nicknames at me. (I was perfoming on stage at some anniversary party of my school and since then I got that nickname. Nothing bad but frigging annoying) So I yelled some not so nic stuff at him. Suddenly my teacher turned around and asked me why I am callng her such things (I was using words to clearly insult a guy btw so she should have know I wasn't directing it at her XD) So I quickly explained, she looked at the guy and ended up telling him that he deserves it. After that she was one of my favourite teachers XD

Most of mine took place at school:

2007

When I was 14, I had this IT lesson where one of the boys went a bit crazy and started throwing chairs around because one of his friends whacked him across the head with a keyboard. Before it could turn into Battle Royale with computer chairs and keyboards, the teacher had both of the boys removed and sent to the headmaster (principal). Unfortunately, whilst he was filling out forms for the damages (one of the chairs had totalled a computer screen), one of the other boys got onto his computer and Googled a picture of a naked woman (with a black bikini, we weren't that sick). He then sent this picture to the printer and set it to 1000 copies. A pencil fight then broke out. It got a whole lot better when the headmaster decided to come back with our teacher to look at the damage himself (probably in a bid to save money and not buy a new monitor) and, of course, returned to a room where the carpet was dominated by printed out pictures of a naked lady and demonic children trying to kill each other with sharpened pencils.

Yes, I guess I should've felt sorry for the guy at that point but I can never forget the headmaster looking down at the numerous pictures of naked women and slowly turning every shade of colour on the pink-red spectrum. xD

2008

Another computer-related story, we got a new teacher in for our science lessons and there was something about her that I couldn't put my finger on. She was short, fat and had bushy brown hair. Brown hair that looked awfully familiar. Back then, I was really into Harry Potter (still am, to an extent) and it clicked when I remembered Hagrid. I asked my friend if she thought the teacher looked like him. She didn't know who Hagrid was. Rather than patiently explain to her that Hagrid was a giant in Harry Potter who had thick bushy brown hair and a beard, I got up an image on Google for comparison. Unfortunately, the teacher spotted me on this surveillance program that are in-built into their accounts (very 1984) and proceeded to get my computer screen up on the projector. So, now, you had this 1000 pixel by 1200 pixel image of Hagrid up on the projector for the whole class to draw up a side-by-side comparison. Needless to say, you could've cut the atmosphere with a special atmospheric knife. xDD

2009

By this point, I should've been taking my studies seriously and trying to work on preparing myself for being an adult and getting a job/going onto further education. However, my teachers tempted me to follow a new path. During Woodwork, we were asked to construct a toy car. Simple enough. Except we had to build an engine into this baby. I must've missed the wooden toy cars with proper engines built into them - such a move would not be cost-effective in the 90's - when I was a kid so I immediately set about doing my own thing: by building a car without an engine. The teacher made out that robbing the car of an engine was like me robbing him of his heart and he told me to connect some wires here and there within the car's frame. In quite a rude way that implied I was mentally handicapped. Not appreciating that he had shown me up in front of my peers and made such a simple task needlessly difficult and unrealistic (it was a Friday, it was the last lesson of the day, I was impatient. Sue me), I set about getting revenge. By gluing all but one wheel of the car to its main body. I was partially interested in how this locomotion would pan out.

Immediately deciding that my laziness amounted to nothing but failure, the teacher called my project out first for demonstration. Fearing that my car would probably fly off the desk and maim somebody in its current state, I kept a considerable distance from the demonstration as the teacher hooked up the engine and turned it on. The car, on its lone wheel, proceeded to go around in circles. My peers leaned forward and spotted the glued wheels, nudging each other and sniggering as the whole thing turned into one big joke about the teacher, who was slowly turning red. Although I was feeling quite smug, I kept resolutely quiet because all it would take would be one snide comment to set him off.

That one snide comment came from my friend, who just laughed and declared: 'LOOK AT DAT THING GO!'. She got detention on a Friday night for playing Captain Obvious. c:

 Those are some pretty good stories.

RJ's stories remind me of a teacher that I had in the 8th grade that I (and a lot of other people) hated. I guess I was complaining about her one day at home, and it was suggested that I write something about her in the bathroom. So I took the suggestion and went into a bathroom stall and wrote "Mrs. Burrows wears a wig and shaves daily". on the wall using my left and so no one would recognize my hand writing. XD

About two months ago, when my mother and I stopped into a store, there was this cardboard display of chocolates or something in the isle. When I saw the back of it, I brought it to my mother's attention that the back side looked like a face. She then remembered that she had a pen in her purse, so she gave it to me and I quickly drew a mouth and nose and added eyebrows over top of the two holes. A couple weeks or so later we were back in that store and I found the display moved, but the face was still on the back.

This past fall my parents and I went up north and stayed at a family run motel that we like. While the last time we stayed up there was in July of 2010, they had fixed up some of their rooms since then. While I don't know if these particular paintings were ones that they had in there originally, the paintings in that room was of pears. There was this one across from my bed, and my mother just HAD to point out that if you look at it right it looks like someones behind... So that night when we went to bed all I could see with my mind was no longer a pear but a rear end.
