--Unless given permission by the character owner, you may not powerplay their character. This means you CANNOT control what they do, including "No Miss" attacks.
-- In a similar vein, I will NOT tolerate Godmodding. Godmodding is making your character rediculously overpowered, i.e., in this case, a magikarp beating almost anything, given that Magikarp can only use one move.
-- Please avoid using pokemon who are from Gen. 3 or higher.
-- Please make fights fair, swallow your pride, and take some dang damage!
-- Don't fight with eachother over... fights. At least, don't fight OOC about it - it's just a game!
-- Try not to double post.
-- Proper grammar, please!
-- DO NOT RP as legendary pokemon.

"Blue" - Official Character - Red's Rival - Open

"Red" - Official Character - Blue's Rival - Open

"Gold" - Official Character - Silver's Rival - Open

"Silver" - Official Character - Gold's Rival - Open

Cedar - Original Character - Female - Feathervenom's
Jolteon(Volt), Rattata(Panya), Bayleef

This RP Has no Specific plot. You have two sets of rivals here, and if you want to, you can make OCs and Rp as both them and your pokemon. To jump in, just tell what character you want to be, if they have a rival, and what pokemon they have.

Cedar sat on a rock, splayed out with Panya laying on her stomach. She was content to use up her day just so. She wasn't near as competitive as some - Blue and Red came to mind. She threw a glance at her other two pokemon - Bayleef, who seemed perfectly happy in the sunlight, and Volt, who obviously found something that peeked his interest. He'd gone over to a bush, and was nosing around in it. Cedar sighed, smiling, and closed her eyes. Surely nothing could ruin the peace.

Am i allowed to use just gen 1 pokemon??? I dont know many gen 2, cause ive only played like half of silver. And what level are we starting at??? And blue and red are both guys, right? [ive never played the original, just the remake fire red/ leaf green.] sorry for all the questions.

(Oh, yeah. Gen 1 pokemon are juuust fine, and yeah, Blue and Red are guys, and I hadn't thought of levels yet. xD I suppose early on - no higher than 15, perhaps?)

Nothing, that is, except for Red sauntering up to her, pokeball in hand. "Battle, lets go," he demanded. He tapped his foot impatiently.

(I'm going to change her name to Coleus, it's more feminine. xD)

Coleus looked at Red, staring blankly. "What-? Oh." Her shoulders sagged. "I... guess." Panya had already leaped down. Coleus sat up, shifting her plaid shrug-shirt over the black tank-top and capris. "Volt! Bayleef!" she sighed, and the two came.

(How're you picturing red? He's the Ash-parallel, remember? He can act that way, it's accurate, I was just hoping you remembered. xD)

A ratata emerged from Red's pokeball. He glared at Coleus, waiting for her to choose her pokemon so that they could get on with the match. His pokemon still needed experience, but he was eager to get his gym badge. And he definetly would not lose to Coleus this time.

Coleus studied the Ratatta. Hm. Unfortunately, I can't use Panya. However, I have him loaded down with shadow attacks instead of normal stuff... And Volt's my best. Bayleef'll probably sit this out. I'll go with Jolt here. She nodded, turning. "Volt! You're out there. Do some damage out there." The Jolteon nodded and leaped out in front of her, pawing the ground eagerly.

"Ratata, bite!" Red commanded. The rodent lunged forward, ready to take a chunk out of the Jolteon.

Clenching her jaw, Coleus twitched a shoulder. "Dodge that- hit 'im with thunder wave-" She cringed as Volt's shoulder was scraped by the Ratatta's teeth. "Okay, keep it on." Volt slid to a stop, sending forth a wave of static eletricity. With a bit of luck, the enemy would be hit and paralyzed.

"Dodge-" but it was too late, a bolt of electric power coursed through the rattata, but after a moment he recovered, his fur sticking out in all directions. It'll take more than that to defeat [i]my rattata[/i], Red though with a smug grin. "Rattata, quick attack, now!" Rattata lunged himself at Volt, stretching out his claws to strike.

Crap. That's a near-100% paralyze rate that disn't work. Coleus clenched her jaw again. "Try to dodge and use thunder," she onstructwd calmly.

Rattata raked his claws into Volt's shoulder, leaving marks but not going too deep. "Use bite!" Red commanded before the pokemon had time to retreat. Jolteon gathered electricity for her next move as Rattata shot forward to attack.

"Change of plans," Coleus murmured. "Keep chargine, Volt! Hold!" He looked back at his trainer, taking a step back. "Hold." She asserted more confidence, and the Jolteon accepted it, electricity sparking off his fur. "Now! Thunder Fang!" Right as Ratatta approached to the lunge, Volt swung around on his front paws, gaping his jaw and swinging in for a charged bite.
