Who was YOUR favourite character in The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride and why?

Do not just write "Kiara" (just for example) in your post, include reasons for your opinion^^

Personally, my favourite character was Kovu, because he had a tough life from what we saw in TLK 2, how his mother wanted him to avenge his father Scar by murdering Simba, but Kovu fell in love with Kiara and refused to do as his mother asked. He was always in a difficult situation, but I love how he remained loyal to Kiara which showed how much he really did love her, he didn't really want to interfere with the fight between the Outlanders and the Pridelanders, but he did so for Kiara. Even though their love was forbidden, he still helped to fight for the right to be Kiara's mate. He was an incredibly loyal and reliable character, and I loved how he managed to cope with the pressure put on him and the consequences that were put upon him because of disobeying his mother. He was also declared an exile by Simba, this broke Kiara's heart, but he still returned to comfort her.

I would have to say Kiara or nala. I think

Nala: I love her eye colour and she is very beautiful ( my opinion) she is a very powerful lioness who always pins simba!
Kiara: she's cute as a cub. I think she could be improved slightly but that's my opinion

I agree with you there, Glameow. Nala was also one of my favourites from both movies. I also agree with what you said regarding your opinion of Kiara, she could have been improved. Having said that, I agree that both were great and interesting characters! =)

You are correct

Uru isn't even seen in any of the Six New Adventures books. She's mentioned, but she is never seen. We don't know anything about her, other than she was the mate of Ahadi, and the mother of Mufasa and Taka (Scar).

I lvoe Sarabi. Her loyalty to Mufasa, standing tall against Scar the bully, she should've had way more parts in the first film. R.I.P Her incredible voice actor

Other than having the Outlander lean form, and having the kind of nose that Scar has, Zira looks nothing like him. They only share those two traits. Nothing more, nothing less.

My favourite character from TLK2 has to be Kovu. I felt more sympathetic to him than any other character, he was brought up to kill Simba – even as a young cub, yet despite being blamed and exiled by Simba himself, still defended him against his own mother to defend his love and her father. This is to me was very touching, the forbidden love between Kovu and Kiara prevailing and Kovu's willingness to change and form a coalition with Simba.

Although Rafiki made me chuckle with the 'head in the clouds' comment to Mufasa – and the hallucinogenic passion fruits.

My favourite character in TLK2 would have to toss up between Nala and Vitani.
Nala- I adore Nala, because, for one, (and please; I know I'm strange for thinking this xD) she caught my eye in LK. She's just, so incredibly beautiful. Her eye color; though it changes, is beautiful, and her fur color is stunning. Her voice fits her. She just seems like a great mother, and very loyal to Simba and Kiara.

Vitani- Again, along with Nala, Vitani caught my eye even as a cub. Her design is STUNNING :"D. Tani's voice even makes me fall in love with her. I just adore her raspy voice. Vitani actually reminds me a lot like myself. At a young age, Vitani has a very rough life. She also has to mature at such a young age. Then when she grows up, even though she see's nothing but evil at first, she is loyal to her mother. But once she see's right from wrong, she changes her whole entire lifestyle and changes for the better.

I do love Kovu; though too. He's entirely loyal to Kiara.

I had my disapointments with Kiara, though too. Don't get me wrong, I love Kiara. She's adorable as cub, truly. But when she grows up, I'm honestly dissapointed in her design. She IS goregous, of course. I was just hoping she'd look a little more like Nala. xD. However; I have grown to adore her design in the past monthes. And, you must believe me... I don't know why, but the colour orange irritates me. I find it extremely and enervingly annoying. So, that could be part of the reason why I hoping Kiara to look alittle more like her mother. Other than the whole design dissapointment thing, I thought she could've been improved a tad bit. :3

Other than that, my loves, I adore the Lion King and all the characters with all my heart, no matter good or evil. Believe it or not, Scar, Zira and Nuka make it in the top fifteen. (:

My favorite was kiara she is a strong character.she follows her heart and is true to herself and one love.tiomon and pumba are hilarious.

Kiara. Nuff said. She Was an awesome charecter who brought Her Pride Back together again. She had such a sweet personality. I kinda Like Kovu as well because He was so Epic , And His personality was great.

Personally I liked Nuka. He was that one character that no-one seemed to like because one, he was bad and two, because he was 'weird'. But me? I liked his character very much. It was sad how much he tried to get Zira's attention and how much he did to try and please her, all for nothing. It practically took his death for his own mother to notice him. To me, Nuka was the character that should have gotten more recognition and more screen time. I think he deserved to live, I was sad when he died in the movie. Maybe if he had've lived, he would've turned to the good side like Vitani did. Everything he did was to get attention from Zira, I honestly don't think he was all that evil. Sure, he was jealous of Kovu but wouldn't you be jealous if your mother thought your younger sibling was better than you? Sure, he tried to attack Simba but it was all to get Zira's attention.

He wanted to be a king badly it seemed, but I think what he wanted even more was Zira's love. And that was something he didn't seem to get until he was practically breathing his last breaths. Therefore, I loved Nuka most. He was an interesting character and I just felt so much sympathy for him. Perhaps he could've turned out to be good, if he hadn't have died just to get Simba and please Zira.
