Wolf Lake:
Deep in the heart of Canada, there is a forested lake. Dotted with islands of all sizes and shapes, it is called Wolf Lake. Barely touched by the nosy hand of man, it is home to two wolf packs, living in harmony together. These two wolf packs live on two of the largest islands, swimming to the others and the mainland to find prey. They are excellent hunters and large, even for wolves. They stand tall and are broad shouldered and powerful, due to the large amount of swimming and the way they are raised. There is a pact between the packs, but tensions have been rising. The Moose pack occupies the swampier part of the lake, the eastern side where it flows into rivers and creeks. The Pike pack lives on the other half of the lake, home of deep water and rocky islands with towering pine trees. Within each pack, two litters are born to the alpha couples. From the Moose pack, a young brute is born with an alpha personality that makes his father proud. In the Pike pack, a young female is born, unusual in color and fierce at heart, she learns quickly, also making her parents proud. As the two near their third year birthdays, the girl goes exploring and finds herself lost in the Moose pack's territory, facing up to a huge bull moose, the boy finds her and together they take down the massive beast.

The Moose pack
The swamp pack live in the swampy part of the lake. The wolves who live there are strong and proud. They spend a lot of time swimming through muck and going through thick underbrush. They are called the Moose pack, because many moose live in their territory and in order for a young wolf to prove him/herself as a valuable member of the pack, they must track a moose and defeat it, bringing back some sort of proof.

The Pike pack
The pike pack live on a massive island in the middle of the lake. The nearest island is a mile or two away. This makes them extremely strong swimmers, being raised to swim long distances and not tire. They are called the pike pack because a young wolf must prove him/ herself by killing a Northern pike, which can be bigger than a wolf and bringing it back to the pack. Northern pike prey on wolves, so to find one can be easy, but the difficult part is not letting it drag a wolf underwater.

He doesn't mind much and is fun loving and in all ways kind.

Aspen swam towards her pack island, her big paws taking long stokes as she went. She felt a peace here, swimming through the cool lake water. She always had adored the lake. She had gone to the mainland to hunt but had been unsuccessful. She decided that tomorrow she would venture further and see what she could find.

She likes to stay active physically as well as mentally and she needs to be with people who knows how to keep up with her. Any sort of weakness or slowness she despise.

Link sat comfortably on the water's shore, gazing out across the shimmering surface. He loved the water and found it to be fascinating, the way it moved and was so beautiful. Of course, that wasn't why he was just sitting there though. He was fishing. His sharp eyes scanned the water and his ears were perked, waiting for that silver flash of a fish's skin so that he could strike. He swished his tail every so often, brushing away the black flies that tried to swarm around him.

Twilight woke up from a deep slumber.It was a beautiful spring day..The flowers were blooming the trees were getting their leave.It was.Perfect.Yes perfect.Perfectly,perfect.But the one thing Twilight did not like about spring was the males were fighting for mates.And the worse part of all...She was not yet taken.She growled at the thought of that but just stood up walking away.She then saw a dark figure up a head by a pond.She pinned her ears back and growled at the male.But saw that he meant no harm to her.Twilight stopped growling and slowly walked up to the male."H-h-hello?"she asked stuttering not knowing what the male would do.

Link looked up in surprise, he hadnt expected anyone to be around at this hour, but he didn't mind. "hello." he said, tilting his head to the side at her hesitance. He returned his gaze to the water, looking for prey.

Twilight looked at him."Could you help me?I'm lost and I need to find a pack,"she said and laid down right where she was.She looked into the horizon line and smiled.The sun-rise was so beautiful at this time of day.She then turned her attention to the male.

Link nodded, getting to his feet. "there are two packs here, I'm part of the Pike pack, we live in the middle of the lake, I can lead you there if you'd like."
