Did TaleSpin: Plunder & Lightning really win an Emmy Award, or was it just nominated but did not win?

Many internet sources show that Plunder & Lightning was nominated in 1991 for a Primetime Emmy Award for "Outstanding Animated Program (For Programming More Than One Hour)" or "Outstanding Animated Program (For Programming One Hour or More)" and that it was the only nominee in this category (which suggests that it should have won by default since it had no competition). However, some of these sources say that it won while other sources say that it was nominated but do not say that it won.

According to some sources, such as the IMDb pages about the 1991 Primetime Emmys and TaleSpin's awards, as well as infoplease.com, Plunder & Lightning won the award.

However, according to the official Emmy website, Plunder & Lightning was the sole nominee in its category but it doesn't say that it won, and classifies it just as a nominee even though it was the only nominee in its category and therefore should have won by default.

So did Plunder & Lightning win the award or not?

That's a good question, I actually asked myself the same thing, whether it actually won or not.
I'm not sure, but if it really was the only nominee in that category (didn't know that actually! does that happen often?...) I think it makes more sense that many don't report it as won, because it won by default.
