So far, I'm calling it Balto IV: Heritage of the Wolf .

Here's the plot I have so far:

After Jenna's natural death, Balto finds and takes in an orphaned wolf pup in town of Nome, Alaska. Meanwhile in the wilderness, another wolf pup is accidentally separated from his pack. Grown up, Chena and Tunerk meet. Balto's succumbing to his old age, so Chena and Tunerk must find the rest of Balto/Jenna's pups before he passes on and a snowstorm prevents them from returning. Balto learns about his heritage as he approaches his death, Aniu shows Balto what happened to him as a puppy, Chena learns why she was orphaned and Tunerk learns about his family.

Keep in mind, I'm still working on it and this is will be my first Balto fanfic.

The main idea is the spiritual journey for each character to learn who they are and the lessons behind birth, life and death. (Spiritual experiences are one of my specialties) Oh, Tunerk is one of Aleu's puppies with her mate "Brown Wolf".

This sounds a LOT better than the last Balto IV concept I encountered. I look forward to hearing how it goes.
