Could Ralph from Wings of Change be part wolf?I mean, think about it.

-He has yellow whites of his eyes
-He has unusually large paws
-His tail hangs down instead of curling over
-His fur is dark gray and light gray, two "wolfish" colors in my opinion
-When he howls,he raises his paw in the air

There, five good reasons for Ralph to be part wolf.I really think he is.Besides, what pure-bred husky has yellow eyes?

*Sorry I don't have any images or videos for proof, but I don't know how to do that. For those of you who own Balto 3,you can watch it and see,and for those of you that don't,youtube has plenty of videos that show Ralph.

1. Okay, this is kinda weird but I don't really believe it makes him part wolf.
2. Because he's big...
3. Neither is Kirby's tail, or even rarely Kodi's or other dogs'

4 and 5. Just...

No. No no no. Unless stated officially in the script or during the course of the movie, it is all speculation; and, in my opinion, pointless speculation.

1. Wolves don't have yellow eyes.
2. Domesticated dogs can have large paws.
3. I guess that means that all dogs with tails that just hang there are wolves...
4. Same as above
5. Wolves don't raise their paws when they howl.
6. A wolfdog would never be fit to be a sledog, and could potentially be dangerous.
7. Ralph looks nothing like a wolf.

So much for being a dog expert.

I'm not saying that, but all five of those facts piled together could add up to some wolf heritage, like maybe three or four generations up.

And Balto had large paws and yellow eyes, and he was a wolfdog. Also, his tail hung down.Ralph has those traits, too.

Don't quote the wrong person when generating a response to a previous comment. It's discourteous. I didn't type that.

First of all, I'm not JerseyCaptain, I'm MightyBalto1925.

1. Animals do not have bright yellow eyes.
2. Balto in real life was not a wolf, but a Husky.
3. You may want to re read my post stating why Ralph is not part wolf.

^ Once again...This.

Seriously its just a cartoon people, who cares.
Okay I'ma break it down:

1.) Some dog breeds (Pure dog breeds) can also have yellow eyes. I use to own a purebred Aussie shepherd who had yellow eyes. Mals can also have yellow wolf-like eyes. So that aspect alone does not justify him being part wolf.
2.) I know some purebred dogs who can have abnormally large paws, some as big as a grown man's hand...
3.) Not all arctic breeds have a curled tail. I have a AKC Malamute who's tail does not curl.
4.) There are ALOT of dog breeds who have Wolf colouring. Its called in many cases "Wolf-grey" or "Sable".
5.) This just makes no sense. I can't even begin to annalize why this would even be a factor for your assumptions I'm sorry lol.

So all in all just keep in mind most of the dogs didnt have a set breed, since its just a cartoon. To over analize it is just silly.
I think he's just some form of arctic breed and nothing more than that.

As has been said, no. Just...no. Ralph is a domestic dog. He was likely bred by the humans, and none of the humans are just going to go breed their dogs with wolves, no matter how many generations back you're taking it. Wolfdogs, especially in the given time period, are a LOT less common than most people on this site seem to think. To have a wolfdog, the two species have to mate, and that is an occurrence that is NOT going to happen often in this setting. Granted, Balto was a special case, but his exact backstory is left to speculation, and there are NO other wolfdogs mentioned.

As for the supposed similarities, this is a cartoon and I'm quite sure they are no more than coincidences. And in any case, it may-or-may-not be worth mentioning that wolves and dogs (of ANY breed) are 99.8% genetically identical. In that respect, ALL dogs have similarities to wolves. That doesn't mean that they're "part wolf".
