I always thought Kaltag and Jenna were a good couple.However,I know that Balto and Jenna are soul mates.But if Balto died,and Jenna wanted to choose a new mate,do you think she and Kaltag would become a couple?While I respect and like the Balto x Jenna pairing,I also kind of ship the Jenna x Kaltag pairing,mainly because none of the female dogs that were official characters were pretty enough to be the mate of an awesome dog like him,except Jenna.

It's possible, though I don't really see it. We never get a view of Kaltag as anything approaching a romantic that I can tell, and there's not much indication of him and Jenna working together to suggest any basis for a platonic tie that could later turn romantic. At least not as far as I noticed.

Well,maybe that could be like a B plot in Balto 4 if they make one.
True,it would be sad to see Balto die,but you gotta admit it,wouldn't Jenna and Kaltag's pups look cool?

Couples are about more than just what their offspring will look like. Couples are all about love. I used to see them as a sort of sub couple, I didn't fully ship them but they could be seen as a couple in my eyes, but now I don't really see anything that could point towards a relationship between them.

Just because you think that "they look cute together" or "their pups would look cute" it doesn't mean that characters are meant to be together. I voted no. Definitely not. Jenna and Kaltag do not even have any interaction with each other through the whole movie. And I personally find Kaltag very annoying.

Okay,maybe I was being a bit...what's the word...shallow about it.And it is true that Kaltag and Jenna don't interact the whole movie.

It's just,I was seeing if any official female characters were pretty enough to become Kaltag's love interest,and...well,Dixie and Sylvie just...they just didn't really work.And no one else seemed to fit him.I just want to give my favorite char a little bit of attention.

Besides,this topic WAS "if Balto died,would Jenna remarry Kaltag?" And I can't really picture Jenna dating Nikki or Star.No offense to them,they just...well,Star goes better with Dixie,and Nikki,well,I just didn't like that pairing.

Look,you guys can vote what you want,but please don't insult Kaltag,he's my fav character.If you think he's annoying,that's okay,but please don't tell me that,because I don't share your opinion.

3. "Remarry" Kaltag? Do you know what you're saying? You're saying that before Jenna became mates with Balto, she was with Kaltag. There is no evidence of that. Of anything, she was hanging around with Steele.

Don't be so sensitive. You made the topic, you asked for opinions and you got them.

Exactly waht Mighty said, you asked me for an opinion, then stop bashing me for it. I don't like Kaltag and he's annoyinh to me, but hest just a friigin' 100% fictional cartoon character. How can I respect opinions of someone who desperately wants to see jenna and Kaltag together just because they're obsessed with Kaltag? Stop getting so sensitive and defensive about it. No one is "insulting" him because he's not even real!

Further discussion on this topic is poinless to me.

And as for being sensitive,well,maybe I am being a little sensitive.I'll try to work on that.

And the opinions I asked for were "would Kaltag and Jenna make a good couple",not "do you like Kaltag".I'm fine with people's opinions on the first one.

Beyond being in very obvious support of every single thing Mighty and Troll Berserker said in this topic (and not wishing to steal any of their well-stated thunder by having nothing more to add beyond it), I will add that it is silly to use the concept of "marriage" when referring to dogs...even fictionalized, animated ones. It doesn't wash. Dogs don't marry. They mate. Pure and simple.

Second, not everyone's gonna love Kaltag or other characters. If they want to criticize the character, or even hate him, it's not your place to tell them otherwise, or that they cannot (whether here "in your presence" or otherwise).

Both require opinions.

Maybe you're right,Jersey Captain.I'm sorry.But,I've said this like 20 times.Sometimes I post before I think.And by marry,I meant mate.I just heard someone else call it marry.Not that I didn't know it was "mate".I am a dog expert,I know what mate means."Marry" just sounded better in this particular scenario.

Okay,I can't change the name of this topic,but the new question is-

"If Balto died,would Kaltag become Jenna's new mate?"

I think that question makes much more sense.

And as for the second thing you said,Jersey Captain,I guess you're right.Sorry I was so strong on my opinions,but I've just always loved Kaltag and thought he was awesome.However,I guess not everyone has to feel that way.Sorry about what I said.
