Pitbulls and Parolees -Me and CookieMonster-

Plot -
After getting released from a prison a group of teenagers find work at a local pitbull rescue, being provided with room and board and a check every month! As the months grow hotter more Pitbull dogs start to flood in and soon they run out of help and out of room. The bills are getting backed up and everything is going crazy around the rescue center. The teenagers are parolees still, unable to go out of state to find the other means of work. So now that they are part of the family at the rescue, they must adopt out as many dogs as possible to raise money for the rescue. Will they chose this hard work or take the easy way out and try to escape?

This is a Pitbull rescue center so no other dogs but pitbulls or pitbull mixes, unless it is your personal dog

Personality: This redhead considers herself the queen of the block. She is your no-nonsense type, who always takes control and ends stupidity right away. Tasha generally hates people who are stupid, have bad attitudes, or are very overly protective. Sure, she can pretend to like them well enough, and doesn't have a problem tolerating them. When things get out of hand is when she can get really grouchy and snappy. Tasha thrives on being the center of attention. Her catty side always makes itself known when things aren't going her way, or aren't happening as she wants them to. Oh, this redhead does have some good qualities; Such as being a pretty loyal friend. You'd be hard pressed to make her backstab a close friend in any way. There are a lot of gossiping girls around, but Tasha never talks about her friends behind their backs, unless they truly deserved it.
History: Tasha grew up mainly in the streets when she was younger, up until she was about 13 years old. That was when she had finally gotten to live with her bestfriend. She had grown up without a father and without siblings. As Tasha got older she got into more destructive behavior. She began spray painting the sides of buses and stores. She also began drinking and getting into the wrong crowds. When Tasha was 16 years old she finally got caught stealing cars. She had been sentenced 5 years to jail but paroled early on good behavior. Her parole officer comes by every week to come and check on her progress and make sure that she is where she say she is. Tasha soon found work at the rescue center, soon growing more and more attached to the 'family' of other parolees and the ex parolees and Jake, the rescue's owner.

Personality: Andy is a big goof ball who isn't afraid to smile and joke around. He dislikes any haters and he has zero tolerance to those who try to be angry with him because of nothing. He isn't an instigator or a name caller. Andy doesn't like working hard unless he is writing or singing. Andy doesn't like being bored so he will be constantly on his feet, wether it's outside with the dogs or just running around the house. Andy refuses to take any medication for anything, even for his paper eating habits. He is over all a hard worker who had a big heart for music and poetry. He's not a push over and he will defend himself, regardless of his parolee status.
History: Andy's connection to Villalobos runs deeper than any of the other parolees' working at the rescue. The oldest male in a family of 10 kids, Andy, born in Los Angeles, met Jake long before he was a parolee working at VRC. Andy's mother, who is a dog trainer, met Andy in the early days of Villalobos and fostered several of Tia's earliest rescue cases. They formed a friendship that lasts to this day. Andy has had several run-ins with the law, resulting in short stints in and out of prison. But on a fateful night in 2009, while he was riding a borrowed motorcycle, police attempted to pull Andy over for speeding. Knowing that he was carrying an unlicensed gun, he didn't stop. The cops followed Andy on a high-speed chase that resulted in a crash and Andy's arrest. Charged with felony evading of an officer and possession of an illegal firearm, Andy spent 10 months in prison. Andy has since regained his place at the rescue after his stint in prison and is once again Jakes' go-to guy and senior parolee (even though he has since successfully completed his parole program).

Personality:Warm-hearted, popular and conscientious. Tend to put the needs of others over their own needs. Feel strong sense of responsibility and duty. Value traditions and security. She is a natural born rebel and you care less what others think of you because she already has it written in stone of who she is. She is aggressive in achieving anything that she sets her mind on and she follow through with her plans to the very end. She also have a bit of a temper and she also hold grudges. History:When she was 6 years old she ran away from home.Ever since then she has been living on her own and been taking care of herself..She does not remember any of her family members,like her mom her dad or the rest of her family.Cameron has been in jail once for drunk driving.Cameron has 1 Pit bull named Moose which she found on the side of the street half way dead.So she took him in as her own and took care of him.

Cujo was barking wildly in Andy's bedroom, throwing himself against the door and barking loudly. Jake walked by and banged on the door, rousing Andy. When the door handle began to jiggle Andy sat up quickly, "Wait wait don't come in yet." He said and grabbed Cujo, holding him by the red nylan collar. Smoothing his hair down Andy rubbed his eyes. "Come in." He said, Jake opening the door. "Andy. If you can't keep him quiet then please put him in an empty kennel or chain him up outside please." Jake said, being very respectful about it. Andy nodded sleepily and let Cujo's collar go, stretching. "I'll be outside in about 20 minutes." Andy said, reaching into his dresser and picking out some clothes. He picked out black skinny jeans with holes in the knees, a black shirt, his black leather jacket, some colonge, combs, hairspray, eye liner, eye shadow, and his converse shoes. Jake left him alone to get his shower and get ready for a hard day at work. It did take about 20 minutes for him to get his shower and get ready for the day, glad that he wasn't the only newbie there. Even though Jake explained everything and how to do everything yesterday.

In the other room Tasha was already awake, getting dressed and getting her hair primped and suitable to be seen by the other workers there. Daddy was asleep at the foot of her bed, slowing waking up. That poor old guy was getting older and older and he wasn't able to get up and down on the bed without those steps. Tasha stretched, slipping on her shirt and her sweat shirt, she hurried outside, running into Andy on her way out. She hadn't gotten to talk to him before so she decided now would be the time to start. "Isn't your name Andy?" She said, looking over at the taller and obviously older boy. "You got paired up with Damien didn't you?" She added, smoothing her hair down with her fingers. Andy simply nodded, giving her a quick glance and a grin. Now it was just awkward. "Oh... I heard you sing?" She said, looking over at him again. Andy nodded,
"I sing in a band. As soon as I get out of this place, I'm going back to it too." He said, looking her over. Tasha nodded, "I see." She said simply, not making eye contact with him. Today would be a long day.

Early in the morning Cameron got up.She heard the barking outside and sighed.Cameron looked at her rescue dog Moose and smiled.She scratched his ear and rubbed his back.Moose got up and started to whine.Cameron looked at him said,"I'm sorry.But I can't let you out right know."she said while scratching his ears.Moose looked up at her and started barking..."Alright!Alright,I'll let you out,"she added,"Just give me a minuet."she sighed and walked to her bathroom and took off her pajama's.Then jumped in the hot shower.....10 minuets later.......Cameron was out of the shower and she ran to her bedroom and threw her clothes on.She threw on her black skinny jeans,her 1 shoulder black ruffled top and her black flats..When she was done with that she did her hair and her make-up then brushed her teeth."Alright Moose.You ready to go?"she asked.Moose barked and wagged his tail and started running around her.Cameron smiled and grabbed his leash.She clipped it on him and started walking out the front door.Moose pinned his ears back and started to growl a little..Cameron pulled back on the growling rescue dog.Moose growled and started to bark at people and their dogs.Cameron walked back in side and had to throw his muzzle on him.The rescue dog know started to whine and cry.Cameron looked at him."You gave me no choice.Know stop so you don't have to wear this muzzle anymore,"she said in a firm soft voice.

Andy didn't pay any attention to the other pitbull as he growled and barked, he had heard all of these pitbulls barking every day non stop so he was immune to it. He drew in a deep breath and looked over his shoulder, knowing he wasn't aloud to smoke around the dogs. Tucking that thought away from his mind as he grabbed a 150 pound bag of Ole' Roy dog food from the back of the white van and slung it over his shoulder. There was about 200 dogs living at Villalobos, which you can only imagine about how much it costed to feed, fix, and vaccinate all of them. Taking a quick glance over at Tania as she attempted to enter the cage next to his. That dog's name was Brock, a.k.a Big Brock the Rock. After Tania grunted and slammed the kennel shut Andy simply chuckled, entering his dog's kennel and pouring food in the bowl. That 150 pound bag would have to be spread evenly between 50 dogs, each getting 2 small coffee can's full. Tani spewed off curse words left and right until Andy walked up. "You go feed the dogs down there, I got him." He said before taking her spot in Brock's cage. Surprisingly Brock gave Andy no trouble as he began pouring the food in his bowl and not even when Andy was leaving and shutting the door and locking it. They couldn't afford to let a dog out.

Cameron walked back outside with out her dog Moose.She sighed and started for the Kennel.She smiled at the dogs and started to feed them.She looked as Killer growled at her.Cameron put her hand through the bar and let him sniff her.He stopped growling and licked her.She smiled and fed him.Sitting down in Killer's cage Cameron heard someone walk in the kennel.All of the pit bull's started to growl and bark.Cameron grabbed a weapon and slowly walked out of Killer's cage.

Andy looked over his shoulder at Cameron, noticing she had something in her hand. He shook his head with a grin, there was nobody here but the workers and the dogs. As he moved to the 13th dog the owner of the rescue, Jake, walked up and gave him a pat on the shoulder. Getting his attention, although Andy didn't like to be touched.
"Andy we've got a possible adopter for Lou. So bath him up and give him a good run so that he'll be his best." Jake said, putting his hands in his pockets. The sun was beating down and everything was getting hotter and hotter. Andy nodded once, "Let Cameron be with you in case you have trouble." Jake added before walking away. Andy nodded once more and fed Lou, taking him out on a leash and leading him towards a big shed they used to bath the dogs. Andy waited for Cameron to come along, if she was coming at all. Meanwhile Cujo was running along side Andy, barking at Lou and trying his best to start a fight. Andy grabbed his collar and held him away from Lou. "Cameron, can you put Cujo in his kennel for me? It's the very last kennel in the first row on the left side."

Cameron grabbed Cujo then put him in his cage.When done with that Cameron followed Andy.Cameron looked at Lou and smiled.Cameron loved dogs.She loved them all.The fat ones,skinny one,mean ones etc....But she loved pit bulls.She would not now what to do if she never started helping these animals.

Andy didn't thank her. Come to think of it he never really thanked anyone for anything they did for him. It was just who he was. Guiding Lou over to the bathing place he had to use more of his strength to get the stubborn put into the water, hurrying to get him wet and to get him lathered in shampoo. Andy used his fingers to work the shampoo onto the dog's skin and thin fur, working silently as he did so. Lou panted, trying to shake the water off at any time he could. Andy pulled him a bit tighter to keep him still, finally able to rinse all the water off. Now he needed to shampoo him again. So the process worked all over again before Andy finally dried him off with a towel and blow dryer, sitting him on the ground.
