NO. Any game based off a movie is almost inevitably terrible. Harry Potter. The Lord of the Rings games were woefully short. All those horrible star wars spinoffs after episodes 1-3.

No.

Actually, I'm one of the people who played and liked very much the Harry potter and Lords of the rings games (well I only played Return of the king but it was a very good beat em all)
And the Star wars Rogue Squadron games are famous and very good.
There have already been topics about this. But I'm too lazy for finding them at the moment.

I posted that I would "try" to make one- only because it is an excuse to make a game for my programming sessions at college for a boost on my grade. Bear in mind it would suck, and it would be no high quality game I would run...perhaps PSX graphics? (only about 100 faces and maybe a few hundred polygons)

Its too hard to make a game with XBOX graphics- I don't know if I even have a large enough CAD PE to work with that can compete with those kind of graphics!

It's just impossible for a single person, nowadays the teams making games are 100 to 200 people...
And 3D in general is very difficult to manage. The best way to make such a game would be in simple 2D - especially since we have so many good drawers on the site :lol:
I could make a Balto game one day...If Universal doesn't want to do it, then it's up to the fans to do something. Maybe I could start making something very simple. After all I'm still a programmer.

:roll: These are not real games to me, seriously have you only played them more than once?...

Most video game characters for PS2 today contain somewhere around 5,000 - 10,000 polygons.

I WAS actually going to make a Balto racing game, but that idea went sour cause I don't know hwo to use C++.

(when I say Balto racing game, I mean Balto and co. racing on foot, not in carts or something dumb like that.)

I voted no, only because, like Aleu said, and to quote Morgan Webb from X-Play, "Great movies seem to make terrible games."

Well, I'm a terrible excuse for what you'd call a programmer --

int main() {
printf("I SUCK AT C AND C++!!!);
}

And to think -- a video game designer is what I WANT TO BE when I grow up!!! *wails*
