Plot
During his quest to teach the Avatar fire bending Zuko, a young fire nation prince, and Katara, a young water tribe villager, have actually formed a closer bond than anyone would've thought they could have. Word spread quickly across the lands, tribes, and nations. Soon enough, Fire Lord Ozai receives word that his first born son is not only dating that of another tribe, but that of a lower ranking. Furious with his son's arrogance and dishonor Fire Lord Ozai sends out a hit-man to track his son down and bring him back to the fire nation for the maximum punishment. Zuko realizes that he not only put his love for Katara in danger, he's put the whole group in danger too... Including Aang. Is Zuko and Katara's love the only thing in risk of getting destroyed?

Personality: During his exile, Zuko was a bitter and complex young man, akin to a tragic villain. More than anything, he wanted his place as heir to the Fire Nation throne and his father's love. But while at the Western Air Temple, Zuko showed a complete change in personality. After a flashback of his banishment, he was regretful about his former disrespect and ruthlessness. For the first time, he showed a comical side to his personality while practicing a speech to a badgerfrog. After questioning what Iroh and Azula would do, he tried impersonating them. He later admitted his wrongdoings to Team Avatar and apologized for the things he did.
History: Fire Lord Zuko is a firebending master, born as a prince in the Fire Nation Royal Family. His story often paralleled that of Avatar Aang. Initially Team Avatar's primary enemy, Zuko's life revolved around trying to capture the long-lost Avatar to end his banishment and regain his honor as Crown Prince of the Fire Nation. Zuko is easily recognized by the distinctive scar on the left side of his face. It was given to him by his father, Fire Lord Ozai, shortly before his banishment, it was the result of an incident in which he unintentionally disrespected his father by speaking out of turn and refusing to duel him.
With support from his uncle, General Iroh, and after much internal struggle and turmoil, Zuko rejected Ozai's Fire Nation and joined the Avatar's group to become Aang's friend and his firebending teacher in an effort to restore his as well as the Fire Nation's honor.

Fireball: A basic ball of fire. Can be briefly charged to increase power.
Fire Stream: Zuko shoots a continuous stream of fire. This stream can be widened to create a flame-thrower like technique.
Flame Daggers: Zuko creates two short jets of fire from his hands, and wields them as daggers.
Blazing Rings & Arcs: Spinning kicks or sweeping arm movements create rings and arcs to slice larger, more widely spaced, or evasive targets.
Root Breaker: Zuko sprays fire from his feet while lowered, in order to knock an opponent off balance.
Breath of Fire: Zuko exhales fire, warming his body and protecting him from the debilitating affects of extreme cold.
Superheated Air: Zuko can heat the air around him with no visible motion or flame, to the point where he destroyed Katara's ice dome with the pressure.
Hot Hands: Zuko can heat his hands without flame to the point that he could quickly melt through ice while submerged in arctic water.
Fire Punch: Zuko consumes his hand in fire and punches with it.
Flame Darts: Zuko shoots small fireblasts from his fingertips with pinpoint accuracy.
Fire Whips: Zuko creates two extremely long whips of fire from his hands that can cut through solid rock.
Spiral Fireblast: Zuko launches two already sizable fireblasts that spiral together to make an even larger blast. Only done during the comet.
Fire Spin: Zuko spins around on his feet and hands, releasing a 360 degree wave of fire. Only done during the comet.
Fire Jump: Zuko shoots fire from his feet, increasing his jumping distance. Only done during the comet.
Lightning redirection: By channeling the lightning through his body, he is able to fire it off in another direction.

Personality: According to his sister Katara, Sokka was initially skeptical, abrasive, and immature and was always sharp-witted. Detached from Katara's and Aang's pursuit of the bending arts, he openly expressed his 'bender envy'. He could become serious when he desired to or when the need arose and was very protective of his sister, Katara. This was shown when he violently tackled Aang to the ground after Aang accidentally burned Katara's hands. Sokka was also protective of Aang, and when Aang surrendered himself to Zuko, Sokka immediately prepared to rescue him. Later, he decided that getting Aang to the North Pole was more important than seeing his father again after years of separation. Sokka also proved to be very intelligent, creative, and good at coming up with ideas, even if said ideas were not always very good. He was also generally the one who was counted on for determining the strategy of attack.
History: Sokka came from the Southern Water Tribe. A warrior-to-be, fifteen-year-old Sokka was a very physical person. He was protective of his younger sister, Katara, and treasured the boomerang given to him by his father, Hakoda. When his father left with the other men of the tribe to fight in the Hundred Year War, Sokka was put under his Gran Gran's care and became his tribe's last defense. He took the task very seriously, building a number of snow watchtowers around the village and even "training" the young children of the village as soldiers. Although Sokka had the spirit of a soldier and the courage to stand up to any enemy, at the beginning of the series, he lacked the skills and techniques that would make him a formidable opponent. That would not stop him from trying, though, especially if his friends needed help. During his travels with Aang, Sokka improved his skills significantly and had evolved into a very skilled fighter with a sword forged from meteorite, a true leader, and a cunning strategic planner.
