Plot

After a military experiment gone wrong a disease begins to spread rapidly across America and soon covering the whole wold. Staying healthy and safe though, a group of adults have managed to escape the clutches of the disease, but now they find their selves faced with a greater problem, zombies. Now they must try to live their lives normally and not get eaten by some blood thirsty zombies. The group moves from the country to the city, finding more resources in the large city while also finding more weapons and yes, you guessed it, zombies. How will they survive this zombie apocalypse?

Personality(Detailed): Sean is a very serious guy when it comes to zombies but he is a really nice guy over all. He is super sweet when you get to know him but he is impatient. Sean doesn't mind what you call him really so long as it is a good nickname. He can have a temper when agitated to much but other than that is super chill all the time. He is normally a quiet guy with only one best friend, since he doesn't socialize much with anybody. He is a really good guy and he really warms up to people once he gets to know you well.
History(Detailed): Sean was born here in Los Angeles, growing up a tough guy with only a couple of friends. Going through life was a pretty easy thing for him to do, especially after finding out that the woman he had loved and dated since he was 15 was going to be his wife soon. It took years before they could be offically together though, getting married at 18 years old. Sean and Stacey(His wife) had been living at a beach house, not moving from California because of Sean's new job as a DEA(Drug Enforcement Agency) and because of the memories invested into this place. Sean and Stacey were inseperable, obviously a match made in heaven. Things were going great in Sean's life since Stacey had came in. But just as Sean's 30th birthday passed the zombie invasion began, taking the lives of the family cat and a couple of Sean's friends. All of the people who know Sean knew that Stacey had dissapeared a few days before the zombie invasion, the question is, what happened to her?
Appearance/Picture: Sean is about 6"5, muscular build, shaved head and brown eyes. He has a deep gruff voice and he is usually wearing a regular v-neck with dark blue jeans and timberlines. Sean has no scars on his face or anything. He doesn't have any tattoos on him. Sean keeps a clean shave and he does wear a silver necklace, attached to it is a silver cross. He still wears his gold wedding band and he also wears a wrist watch.

Personality(Detailed): Mike is very easy going and very chill. He too is an DEA agent and he still takes his job a little too serious some times. Michael is a very sweet fun loving guy who loves making jokes and hanging out with him. Mike is Sean's best friend and he is with him through thick and thin. He is down to earth and a little bit hood since he grew up in one.
History(Detailed): Michael has a pretty good past, despite the part where the zombies came to his place in the midst of the night. Michael was born in Los Angeles, growing up there too. He had multiple girlfriends growing up but for some reason he could never find one he would want to marry. Although he wanted to get married and have kids of his own someday. When Michael was in 3rd grade he met Sean, growing up with him. Michael and Sean were in highschool and college together, getting the same job just to be able to work side by side. Knowing Michael was the only one, other than Stacey, who could bring out Sean's good side, their boss allowed them to be partners. Bonus for the two best friends.

Personality(Detailed): Veronica is a very kind and gentle person. When it's time to take charge you can count her out! She isn't a natural born leader, she is a follower. Veronica can get nervous break downs when she is surrounded by negative energy and she is asthmatic. Veronica is super sweet and very loving. Although she is very down to earth, she will snap if bugged too much.
History(Detailed): Veronica was only 15 when she lost both of her parents in a car accident. She was sent to live with her aunt and her aunt's husband. Which was totally fine since she loved them and they loved her back. Veronica grew up with tons of friends and not many enemies. She kept a high profile in school and she kept good grades. Veronica married her high school sweet heart and had a kid by him a while ago. She named him Jayce and they lived a happy life, up until the zombies came and took his father from him.

Personality(Detailed): Jayce is a very sweet and funny kid. He loves to get into things and he loves to make trouble. Jayce looks more like his father than his mother and acts that way too! Jayce doesn't think little of anybody and he really enjoys watching t.v and playing games. Jayce is very brave and he is very loving. Once you meet him, you'll fall in love with him.
History(Detailed): Jayce was born in Autumn, the time of fall and colorful leaves. He grew up a pretty good childhood, only getting lost once in the store and getting everything he wanted. Although Jayce seems not to be too spoiled, he is king of the house. Whatever he wanted, he got in the next day or so. On Jayce's birthday he finally recieved word of the zombies, still unsure of what they were and why they were walking and acting so different. Now he currently lives with just his mother, since he lost his father a few years back.

Personality(Detailed): Katie is a very sweet girl that is totally hardcore. She has no remorse for anything she does unless she knows that it was wrong before she did it. Katie is super competitive and thinks of herself that she is the brains of the group. Although she is a tomboy to the fullest her dreams include that of what a little kid's dream would be. For everything to be perfect. Katie hates cats but she absaloutly loves dogs and other animals. Katie has a tendancy to get stand off ish and very agressive.
History(Detailed): Katie was born in New York, soon making her way to California for buisness. She was working a full time job as a field journalist, given for her love of writitng. Only a few months after getting the job though she was fired for loosing her temper on the job. Katie then became a cop, that is her current job. Katie was married a total of 0 times. She did have multiple abusive boyfriends though. She never seemed to get away from them for some reason. As a teenager Katie was in a car accident, having amnesia that she learned to live with. It didn't matter to her anyway, she didn't have any friends as a teenager. Katie didn't grow up alone though, she did have her mother to help her regain very little of her memory back. It was a sad day when Katie wouldn't even call the woman nurturing her, mom. Which of course that was her mother! Katie soon moved out at 17 and adopted a puppy named Buck. She and the puppy grew up together. Up until the zombies came... When Katie was 24 she lost her best friend to the first dozen zombies. Once she realized how severe the situation was she took her puppy, Buck, and locked herself away in a basement. Finding contentment down there up until it became short of food. On her journey to the city however Buck had ran around the corner to escape some zombies chasing him, and he, never came back... Katie has been pretty solitary since then.

Personality(Detailed): Rachel is very untrusting even of those that she has been traveling with for a long time, and she always keeps her past to herself, never revealing anything to anyone. Although she keeps a calm attitude and will lend a hand if needed, she does so grudgingly. She stays with the group and doesn't normally wonder off, but her cynical comments and tough love earn her more reluctant acquaintances than true friends. She has a survival instinct that is completely selfish and if she thought it served her better, she would have left the group a while ago.
History(Detailed): Rose Krew had just graduated from college and moved into an apartment her father had bought for her when the zombie pandemic first began. The city she lived in attempted to go on with life as if nothing had happened, but before her interview the next week, the disease had spread into the city limits and infected hundreds, including Rose's parents. For a long time, Rose survived in her tiny flat for a couple of weeks, a mistake that only let the illness spread to everyone around her. Eventually, Rose finally packed up her last supplies and managed to cross the city (mostly by jumping roofs) until she reached her parents' home. After a dash into the house, she barricaded the door and found her father's guns. She restocked her supplies from whatever was left in the house and headed out again. She fled to a less populated part of the city, finding a group of survivors that had made a shelter in neighborhood of houses connected by underground tunnels and wooden paths built across the roofs. She stayed with them for a few weeks as Alison Golding, nursing herself back to health after her gruesome journey there wherein she had been lucky not to be bitten. While there, 'Alison' became rather fond of Jason Adams, one of the men there, but she kept him at an arms length away from her heart. Rose soon realized that the shelter couldn't stay safe forever and eventually the zombies would get it. 'Alison' left the group to "find her brother out in the country," and she didn't ask Jason to come with her. Rose again set out on her own, and, after a couple of years, she found this new group of survivors and joined them as Rachel Adams. Rachels hasn't spoken of her past to anyone, and if someone tries to get it out of her, she merely states that she travels a lot on her own and never anything else.
Appearance/Picture: Rachel is around 5'7" with thick black curls that reach about the middle of her back, a few inches passed her shoulders. She normally wears it down or half pulled back, so it's almost always frizzy and tangled. She has light blue-green eyes and fairly tanned skin with a few freckles from unprotected exposure to the sun. She has too many scars to count, mostly on her arms and legs from her journey, but she does have a rather noticeable one trailing from her collarbone to her shoulder and another on the side of her ribcage from a brutal fight she got in with another traveller over the food in her bag. She killed him.

Personality(Detailed): Xavier is a very kind-hearted individual and does all he can to care for those around him. He is very selfless and takes great risks to help strangers and even more risks to help a friend. He is very protective of those under his care and prefers to be at the front of the crowd, taking on the dangers first. He is very hard-working and resourceful. He has quite a bit of knowledge about how best to deal with injuries, though he is clueless when it comes to infections or illnesses. He tends to panic whenever he doesn't know what to do or when he realizes there is nothing he can do to help. When he loses the people he cares about, he clings on to his one hope, Lucy, because he knows he is the only one who can keep her safe. If anything ever happened to her, he would be lost.
History(Detailed): Xavier grew up in a large farm house on a small ranch, spending most of his days in the stables or on the trails. He dated a girl, Lily, on and off for a couple of years, and they were finally engaged just before the news of the strange disease reached them. The couple had just been looking at an apartment in town, but Xavier convinced Lily to stay away from the city. They stayed in the farmhouse with Xavier's parents and his three sisters, but eventually a mob of zombies did find them. In a haze of chaos, only Xavier and Lily escaped on the back of a horse, galloping away from the scene. Without any supplies, though, they barely made it to a neighborhood settlement, but the people they brought them inside the barricade and helped them regain their full health. They lived there for a number of months, helping bring others into the safety including Alison Golding, the only one to ever leave the settlement. The safe haven was breached, though, while Xavier was working in one of the fenced in gardens far away from Lily. He tried his best to find and rescue her, along with the others, but the only one he managed to save was a little girl. He managed to carry her across a wooden bridge to one of the few houses without an underground entrance and destroyed the planks connecting it to the others. He managed to get the child to tell him her name was Lucy, so he filled in the rest and has treated her like his own daughter ever since.
Appearance/Picture: Xavier is around 6'2" and his a lean muscled build from his labor at the stables. He has mouse brown hair that he keeps fairly well kept though he often "forgets" to shave. His eyes are a dark hazel that are mostly seen as simply brown until the light hits them just right and a hint of green can be seen. Because he doesn't travel farther than the fenced in garden behind the house, he often goes barefoot, even outside.

Personality(Detailed): Lucy is a very quiet young girl who never seems to speak unless absolutely necessary. She doesn't quite understand the world around her, and she is often seen sitting by herself and staring off into the distance as if she is thinking of everything or nothing. She doesn't have many social skills, and when she is interested in something or someone, she has a habit of just staring at them for a long time. She listens to her "father" though and is very obedient and loyal to him. She only ever gets angry when someone insults or harms him. The two of them have been on their own for quite awhile, so Xavier hasn't seen this side of his adopted daughter yet, but she does have a wild and violent side to her that could come out throughout the story.
History(Detailed): Lucy was still a baby when the pandemic hit, but her parents were original house-owners of the neighborhood clan and helped build the strange settlement. Lucy grew up with lots of people around but there really wasn't anyone around who was her age. She was always the youngest and although she tried to keep up with the older kids, they always left her behind. She soon learned to stay by her mother's side and hardly ever left her position. When the breach happened, her mother told her to run, but Lucy refused to let go of her mother's hand and flee. Her mother tried her best to save her, but Lucy was forced to watch her mother be attacked by one of the infected people and rise as a living corpse a few moments later. That was when Xavier grabbed her and carried her away to some place safe. She never cried about her mother's death, probably to traumatized by the experience, and never speaks about her parents, or anything else for that matter. She did learn to always do as her parent tells her to, no matter what, and has done everything that Xavier asks. This has enabled her with learning how to garden and patch clothing and store the rare meat they capture on occasion.

What Xavier doesn't know is that the zombie that killed her mother always attacked Lucy, but for some reason, she didn't turn into one of them. It seems that she is immune. Although Xavier did see Lucy get bitten, he tries to reason that he must have seen it wrong and keeps his suspicions to himself.
Appearance/Picture: Although she is young, Lucy is tall for her age and has a very lithe build. She has long, wavy hair that is a light brown color that falls down almost to her waist. She has big, dark brown eyes and a fair complexion. She has a strange scar right above her knee that is almost always covered by either her dress or her pants. She almost never smiles. On the very rare occasion she does speak, her voice is rather raspy from lack of use though one can tell she used to have a very light and sweet voice. Also, when she does talk, it's almost in a whisper.

Other: the people who lived in the house before owned a cat that Lucy has adopted as her own; the only time she looks really peaceful is when she is cuddling with the cat; the cat is her only possession that she is protective over and won't let anyone even touch her baby

Sean readied his shotgun, sun beating down hard against his clothes. Sweat was beaded on his forehead and brow, trinkling down his temples and down his cheeks. It was hotter than usual today. Maybe from all the running he had done earlier. Sean looked back at his group after scanning the bare streets of California, "Okay listen up," he began in a hushed tone, "I don't want to take any risks of zombies hearing or seeing us okay? Now when we get moving, stay close and if you find something to protect yourself with, grab it. Our destination is," he pointed to a huge mall "on the roof of that mall. Lets make this as quick as possible. Alright let's move." He said, turning and looking around one more time. "Wait, before we start, make sure your guns all have silencers on them. A piece of rubber pipe works as a silencer too. Gun shots ring out like dinner bells to them." He said. Pausing to take a deep breath.

A bitter taste formed in the back of her throat when she heard that there still might be zombies lurking around. "I-I don't know Sean." She said, looking him over. "I mean-" She was cut off by a low growling/grunting sound. Zombie obviously. Carefully she peaked past Sean, she had never shot a zombie before. Sean was usually the one that did all the shooting for her. "S-S-" She could manage the words out, grabbing Sean's arm with a frightened face. She backed up slightly, holding Jayce's hand with her other hand. Carefully and slowly she lifted him up, looking down at the gun on the holster Sean had given her. When the zombie started limp running towards her she grabbed the gun, still fearing this undead being.


She rolled her eyes, obviously not happy that Sean was calling all the shots. Since when do we take orders from you? The words fought to escape her lips but she restrained herself. When the zombie began running for the she pulled her hand gun. Sun glinting off of it's shiny edges. Katie smiled some and fired two shots into the zombies head, watching as it slowly fell onto the group. Growling and grunting still in an attempt to get to them. Katie put her gun back in the holster and looked at Veronica, "You need to learn how to use that thing if your gonna have it." She said, trying not to sound rude. Katie looked at Sean and folded her arms, handcuffs on her belt loop. "Are we gonna move now?" She inquired, looking annoyed.

Rachel pulled a handfull of bullets from a tiny leather bag hooked on to the belt loop of her rugged jeans. She dropped one into each of the six places of the cylinder of her revolver, clicking it back into place with a swift flick of her wrist. Her other single-action rested inside the holster on her right hip, already loaded and ready for its turn in action. She clicked the gun into place, preparing it to fire off as soon as she took a step out into the open where she knew zombies would appear out of places she never knew they could hide in. She barely glanced up as Katie shot two bullets into the head of a limping corpse, saying nonchalantly, "And you are going to have to learn to use as little ammunition as possible. We don't have an unlimited supply here, and we're running low as is. One shot is enough against the dead." She rubbed a smudge off the dully shining barrel of her revolver before standing straight up from her crouching position, cracking her back as she rolled her shoulders. "And I'm not sharing." She walked from the back of the group, her thick leather boots disturbing the dust of the ground, to stand right behind Sean's shoulder. "I'm ready when you are."

When Veronica grabbed his arm he looked behind him, shucking his gun and readying it. As soon as he put his finger on the trigger, Katie had already shot into the zombie. Rendering it dead. Sean lowered his gun, looking back at Veronica and then at Katie. Veronica would have to learn to shoot sooner or later if she wanted to protect herself or her son. Soon he began thinking about Stacey and how she screamed for him as the zombies got her, and how scared she was, and the tears that spilled down her face, and and... All of this just gave Sean a big headache, blurring his vision for a few seconds. Suddenly, talking dragged him out of his thoughts and he was back into reality. Sean nodded to Rachel's words, "Well it's best to double tap, just to make sure. I've been to the roof of that mall the moment I heard of the zombies, we've got a couple more bullets but it's not for the guns your thinking about." He said with a smug grin. He didn't know how else to show a small fraction of what he felt. Sean looked back at her, "Alright." He said and looked around. "C'mon." He said quietly, quickly moving around the corner and hurrying towards the mall about 5 blocks away. It wouldn't be easy making it towards the mall but he had to try something. He began walking, standing straight up as if to test the zombies if any were near.

She winced when the gun went off, gripping onto her son's hand. She looked around at everyone else, deciding to stay close to Sean for protection. As soon as he started moving, Veronica was so close to him she would brush up against him occasionally. "Sean, I'm scared." She said, noticing stuff moving. She grabbed his arm, "What was that?" She said paranoid, looking around. It was a bird rustling around in a nearby tree. Veronica let out a breath of relief, looking around her to make sure nothing was following her. Everything was just so scary now that her life included zombies! Suddenly, an idea struck her. She pointed to a black hummer. "Sean we could take that and get there-" She was cut off by Katie. Who hastily walked over, gun ready, and jumped in the backseat. Looking around she found a big bag.
"Sean get over here." She called, seeing the keys still in the ignition. Veronica mumbled something under her breath. My idea and she just takes it like that. She thought, looking down at her son.

Rachel hesitated as Sean moved forward with Veronica clinging to his side. Rachel sneered at the blonde mother, wondering how she expected to protect her boy if she was too scared to even protect herself. Rachel's blue eyes drifted down to the kid clutching his mother's hand and briefly thought that she would more likely risk her safety to safe his life than his mother's. Feeling a tenderness tugging in her hard heart, Rachel rolled her eyes to rid herself of these thoughts. She fought for herself and for herself alone. She had done things in the passed few years that would probably cause tender-hearted Veronica to faint and scare even tough-skinned Katie and fearless leader Sean. Rachel didn't have it in her to feel affection. She sauntered out into the open, her pace casual expect for her darting eyes. She walked towards the car backwards as she watched for shadows crawling out from behind buildings and walls. She glanced at the car with skepticism, preferring to rely on her own feet than the worn wheels of a rusty car.

Sean looked at Veronica, "You'll be fine I promise. I'm not letting anyone else in my life die." He said stiffly, realizing what he just said. Sean shut his mouth quickly and set his jaw. He heard Katie and looked over at her, flashing her a grin before turning and walking towards the hummer. He stood on her left, looking at he bag. He reached over, moving her gently out of the way and unzipping the bag. Guns and amo filled the bag. He smiled deeper, zipping the bag back up and putting it in the very back. "Okay, get in." He said and moved out of everyone's way. He remembered this hummer, it used to belong to his friend. Sean popped the driver side door open and jumped in, door still open. He also noticed the glove box was ajar. Pulling it open with curiosity out poured 4 candy bars. There was 5 people. Sean made the decision, he wasn't eating one. His 'family' would eat first, that was the type of guy he was. Sean looked up, "Thanks Stacey." He whispered, smiling as he turned the engine and the truck started up.

Rachel pursed her lips as Sean climbed into the Hummer, clearly taking up Katie's idea to drive there. Rachel knew that would probably be easier and safer to take the truck across the distance instead of walking, but she couldn't bring herself to feel comfortable as she stepped closer to the hulking vehicle. If the engine cut out in the center of the open stretch, Rachel didn't want to be trapped inside when the zombies surrounded them. Not wanting to be stuck in the back, Rachel quickly jogged around the front of the Hummer and jumped into the passenger seat. She heard Sean's thankful comment through the open window of the door as she swung it open. "Let her know that I at least would appreciate something with a bit more nutritional value," Rachel said as she slammed the door shut behind her. "Now, hurry up. I want to spend as little time inside this metal contraption as possible."
