Disclaimer: This is not an attack on any member who may be subject to this matter. Nor am I complaining because none of my stuff that is featured makes makes it to the selection of the week.

It has happened in the past, and it has happened again this week. Members having another must-see featured in the selection of the week after they have already been featured the week previously. This is not fair for other members. There is no excuse for this, unless there was some honest mistake, but in this case, I don't think that's a factor. What I do believe to be a factor is the fact that Halloween is in two days. Even then, I still don't see that as a good reason to choose the same person twice. That is nothing more than a band-aid move.

I dare say this, but it's an observation that I made. Whenever one of my drawings/images get added to the must-see list, every other must-see that gets added as a selection of the week but mine. Maybe not every piece of content that makes it as must-see will get chosen for a selection as the week, but I do find it rather funny how a total of three of my drawings had the same thing happen to them in the same pattern. And it also appears that my image in the must-see list is suffering the same fate. I will note again, I am NOT throwing a fit because my fan content doesn't get featured. But I am stating this to back-up the fact that the mods aren't exactly playing fair.

This has happened to me as well, I've noticed. But only on Baltosource, actually. The other sources are fine. And I've also noticed (at least for me anyway) that whenever one of my images becomes a must-see, it disappears not even a week later, even though all the others remain. Curious...

This could've easily been done and talked about by PM'ing the mods instead of making a rant topic, just saying.

Rant topics are for ranting. Mighty did nothing wrong here. What is the point of having a rant board to begin with if people cannot express their frustrations, within the confines of good form and the rules?

I see no issue, and as to the topic, Mighty is correct.

This happened to me a few times. Also there was a time when fan art of the week was switching from mine to Kelsey's drawing everyday.

I think the main problem of "selections of the week" is that it changes whenever mods spot something "better" to feature on, not weekly, like it's supposed to.

-nods- I have to agree with this one. Not to say that those who get featured twice aren't great artists who make great pictures/images, because they often are, but you're definitely right, Mighty, in saying that it's not fair to other artists. I've also noticed that the feature is also often by someone who is already a relatively known artist. Again, not to say they aren't skilled, but there ARE many other talented overlooked fanartists that deserve a feature...not the same known artists over and over.
