This information is from a set of TLK books released after the movie came out. Here's some facts that I read that were interesting!

- Scar's name was originally Taka. It was changed to Scar when he recieved it from a water buffalo's horn scratching him in the eye.

- The name of Scar and Mufasa's father is Ahadi.

- In one of the books, Simba has a son named Kopa. (This was before the release of Simba's Pride. Simba's son looked exactly like Simba when he was a cub.)

That's pretty cool. Hmm I can't imagine Scar being called Taka. But then again if his name had stayed as Taka, I'd be saying I can't imagine him being named Scar. Good finds!
