Ok this is anime related, which do you prefer? English Dubbed anime or English Subbed? if you have a reason why you chose your option then post it^^

My reason is well alot of the times the subs are not correct, and non english audio tends to get annoying fast, besides the english voices tend to be hot for most anime related charactersXD like Sabastian of black butler and Vincent Valentine obviously from anything Final Fantasy related^^

It really depends on the anime - and also which time period the anime is being dubbed/subbed.

Take Pokemon. By far, the first few seasons were better in Japanese, and thus are more enjoyable watching the subbed versions. HOWEVER, recently the English dub has been very consistent with the Japanese dub, and since the only real difference in that case is the voice actors you hear, then it's sometimes better to wait for the dub. (Or, if you can't wait, just watch the raw Japanese version. lol)

That's another thing: subbing and dubbing takes time. Even subbed versions take as little as a day - but that's still a full DAY after it airs. Dubs take months, sometimes years. So, in THAT sense, I'd go with subbed.

Subbed. A LOT of dubbing really annoys me. If they don't pronounce food or names wrong, they just sound wrong.

That's majority wise though. Some shows I'll watched dubbed if I'm not interested in the anime as much as others, or if the dubbing actually doesn't suck as bad. (Some shows do get better with time. But I'm not very patient.)
Naruto (pre time jump) and Bleach being two examples.

I know that there are a lot of anime fans who hate dubbed versions (usually those who understand Japanese no offense), but I much prefer hearing things in my own language regardless. If it's interesting enough I can watch it subbed, but I don't make a habit of it. Then again, I don't watch anime in the first place Lol. (Not usually).

I actually can't vote because I don't have a preference either way. It really depends on which one I watched first. Voices don't usually get on my nerves like they do for some people and I don't spend a ton of time imagining what a character's voice might sound like based on the manga. I tend to adjust to the voices in whichever version of the anime I watch first and end up liking the one I'm used to the best.

There are cases though like Pokémon and Yugioh, where they censor things out of the actual animation and try (way too hard) to westernize them. In cases like that I would prefer the original Sub. However, even in those shows, the voices I like the most are the Dubbed ones because that's what I'm used to.

There have been times when I've switched to the subbed version because of a verbal tick that a character is meant to have, but it sounds annoying or forced in English. Higurashi is one example of a time I switched. Rena's style of speaking sounded much better in Japanese.

There are even anime, like Durarara, Bleach, and Naruto, where I like both versions.
