well personally i think that it was kopa at the end of number 1 because it looks exactly like a boy and what disney probably did was make kopa at the end then put a couple of years gap between the movies and in that gap kovu wasnt born yet and vitani met kopa and they fell in love but then zira killed kopa and then in number 2 kiara was born because cimba and nala were young adults in the first one and then in number 2 they look alot different, and more grown up.
