Plot -
An open area in the Colorado out back has been bought by the governmet, ordering all the wild horses to be sent to ranches or sold at auction. When an extremely lucky bidder, accidently aqquires the whole herd of horses, he must now find a way to build more stables and open the pasture more on insuficient funds. (Sorry for miss spells) Now, he is risking everything to try and save his ranch. The 'Hollow Tree' Ranch.

Personality: Phantom is very high strung with a free spirit. He doesn't like people touching him and he really doesn't like to be ridden or groomed. It will take some time for him to get used to this new living arangment, but till then, he's just giving everyone a hard time. He is often calmed or sooth by the sound of soft talking or a gentle hand. Phantom doesn't like being approached from the front either.

I awoke the next morning, excited. It was the day I would travel to the Hollow Tree Ranch. I threw the blakets to the floor and hurried into the bathroom, searcing for my tooth brush and paste. I applied a small amout on the brush and ran back into my room as I brushed. "Umm, Plaid? With jeans?" I asked myself, nodding. I found a light blue plaid shirt and a pair of dark jeans. I went back to the bathroom and rinsed my tooth brush off and put it back in the cabnet. Once I ws all changed and ready for the day, I went downstairs for breakfast. My little sister, Jamie, was sitting at the table eating Fruit Loops. "Hey little sister." I said, smiling at her. She ignored me and continued eating.

I heated up some poptarts and ran out he door. "Bye Mom!" I yelled before shutting the door. I went out the the barn and put my perfect, white Arabian in his halter and loaded him into the trailer. His saddles, bridles, and halters were already loaded in the storage room which was on the side of the trailer. I climbed in the cab of my black Chevy Silverado and drove off towards the ranch.

OOC::// Well, Kit has to go and gather up all the horses he bought at auction. He's gonna need a buddy to go with him, someone with a trailer. And then when he gets them there, he's gonna turn them out into a arena, but it has sturdier walls. And yeah.

Kit awoke the next morning, not saying a word to motivate himself for the long day. Standing up, Kit scratched his chest, walking over to his dresser and slowly picking out clothes. It was going to be hot today so he got a pair of faded jeans, white t-shirt with a picture of a bucking bull with a rider on his back, cowboy boots, and green hat that had the 'John Deere' Logo on the front. He folded them up neatly, grabbing the towel from his quarters and walking down and into the shower. He shut the door, turning the water on and taking a long bath. He regretted this day.

IC: I brushed the hair out of my face as I pulled into the ranch. Smiling, I parked my truck and led Ace out of the trailer on his halter. He still had some dirt on his legs from traning last night, which was very noticeable since he was sure white. I stroked him and made him drink what was last of the water in his bucket. "I'm sure this is going to be a long day, boy." I was nervous and excited at the same time.

As Kit came out of the shower, he hurried to dry himself and get dressed. Brushing his teeth and combing his hair. Kit was a very neat guy who took his hygene seriously. Kit walked out, flicking the light off as he made his way down the hall and to the kitchen. There he brewed a pot of coffee, trying to get breakfast made. Toast, eggs, and bacon. Meanwhile Zeus was in the pasture, flicking his tail and munching on the sweet grass.

As he became bored, Zeus galloped around the pasture. It must've been a couple miles long and a couple miles wide. Big enough for a big horse like him. And the best part about it was, that there was tall trees that shadded him while he was out there roaming around. Zeus prefered the shade over the scortching sun anyway.

I dug through the little storage room in the trailer, looking for some of Ace's snacks. I had him tied to the trailer, and he was getting very anxious. He kicked the trailer with his front legs, and whinnied loudly. Once I found the bag of fresh apples, I tore the bag open and grabbed two. Ace was still being loud and annoying, so I decided to hurry. "Shhh, Ace, You're going to wake everyone up! Silly boy!" I said, giving him one of the apples. I untied him and walked him over to the pasture gate to see if there where any other horses on the ranch yet. We saw one, a big, beautiful draft.

Ace whinnied at the horse, trying to comunicate since he isn't around other horses a whole lot. Just Jamie's horse, Jasper, and mom's horse, Ying.

Kit didn't notice the new comers as he walked to the barn, looking for his beautiful Gypsy Vanner. "Hm." He said, looking around. "He got out again." He said to himself, putting his index finger and his thumb in his mouth. Kit whistled for the big horse, getting a whinny in reply. "In the pasture." He said, walking out to see the new people. "Oh hi, my name's Kit. I'm the owner." He said, extending an arm and opening his hand with a friendly smile.

Zeus whinnied back at the other horse, being bigger than him. He galloped over to the gate, trying to nuzzle Kit. Reaching him, Zeus gave his shirt a tug. Pulling the man back so he could touch him more. Zeus loved affection and he loved to be touched and ridden by his owner.

"Hi! I'm Kate Jennish, nice to meet you." I greeted. "This is Ace, my horse." He nudged me since I still had the second apple. Then I took another look at the big draft horse. "You're horse is very pretty!" I complimented, pulling Ace closer to me. "So where should Ace stay? Do you have a stall for him?" I asked, brushin my strawberry blond curls out of my face and tucking them behind my ears.

Kit smiled, stroking the arabian. "Thank you." He said to when she complimented. "Your horse is pretty too." He said, glancing at the barn. "Yeah, he can have any stall but 7." He said, scratching the back of his head. All the while Zeus kept nudging him and nudging him over and over, trying to get an apple from him. Kit pushed his nose. "Zeus, I don't have an apple for you right now. You'll have to wait." He said, the big horse nickering and galloping off and over to the nearest tree.

"Thanks." I said, walking up to the gate of the pasture and leaning on it. "So, what do you have for me to do?" I asked, thinking about which stall I would put Ace in.

Kit shrugged, "Hows about you go ahead and get settled in and everything. Theres nothing really to do yet, I need to go and pick up some wild horses at 3. Want to tag along? I need an extra trailer." He said and grinned. His other friend, Mikey would be coming to help too. 3 horses could fit in each trailer. Three trailers could haul 9 horses at a time. But since Kit had an extra large trailer, maybe 4 could fit. So if he was calculating right, he'd maybe have to only make 2 trips to get these horses. It wasn't a very large herd.

I nodded. "My trailer can fit two or three in it. I'd be happy to help." I'd never seen wild horses before in person. "Just let me know when we're about ready to take off." I said, walking of towards the barn. I decided to take stall three.

He nodded and flashed her a smile, "Thanks and will do." Kit made his way over to the next building. It held all the medicines and stuff like that. Nearing the newly painted door, he could still detect a hint of the fresh paint that he had coated the door with yesterday. Opening the door and walking inside, de checked everything over so nothing was left opened or knocked over. In this big plastic container there was some sort of powder. "Hm, those jockeys must've left it here." He said and looked at the container. He spun it around, although he couldn't read backwards it said, "steroids" written on it. Kit gawked at it. "Those idiots. Giving those horses steroids, ugh, they make me so mad." He said, pulling the container out and throwing it in a trash bag. That wasn't going to stay there. The jockeys had left a couple days ago with their horses, so they weren't coming back.
