Introduction/Prologue

In twenty first century America, society laughs at those who go in search of "mythical" creature: Big Foot, Nessy, vampires, witches, dragond, and demons. They are out of their minds, or so everyone thinks, until the impossible happens. One of these legends is proven to be real...

A werewolf is caught in a trap on a full moon night, and is almost let go by his capturers by being mistaken for a simple, everyday wolf. As they are about to let him go, the wolf transforms back into a man. Shocked beyond relief, this group of supernatural hunters decide to keep the man for further study.

A month later, a tape is sent to every news station in the country. The content of the tape reveals the entire species of werewolves. And once out in the open, there is no going back into hiding.

Chaos follows the revelation of the wolves, causing many deaths not only of these "monsters" but also of innocent humans. Finally, a new branch of authority takes care of the problems, sorting out the humans from the werewolves with a simple, humane test: if you can touch this silver coin, you are free to go.

The werewolves are gathered into reservations with hardly enough food and water to survive. As these wolves struggle to stay alive, society pushes this event of history to the back of their minds and contiue on with their ordinarily human lives.

Plot

Years have passed since those events, and the werewolf reservations now resemble small towns. They live perfectly normal lives, except for the fact that they are separated from the rest of the world. Then, a new radical president takes office with an idea of segregation that not all are comfortable with. The first small steps that Congress hesitantly approves with a boarding school in Wyoming where a selected few werewolves and humans will study together, play sports together, and even attend prom together. These teen wolves have a build in dislike for humans while these teenagers have a weariness towards werewolves, but they can all agree on one thing: this may not be the best idea...

Rules

Congradulations for all of those who actually read through the entire intro. I didn't expect to get so long, but there was a lot to explain. Anyways, as for rules, I think everyone knows the deal. This is semi-advanced so two paragraphs or ten lines per character. No character colors; I personally just think it makes a roleplay look childish and messy, no offense to anyone who likes them. Because we are dealing with a group of teens, this rp will be PG13. I will allow * cussing and some alcohol/drug use. Do not go over board with this! Also, relationships along with confrontations are encouraged, so romance and violence is allowed to an extent. Again, don't get too carried away with this slight give in the general rules. I would really like everyone to join as at least to characters. A human and a werewolf will probably make the most sense, but you can join as two humans or two wolves if you want. All character should either be a Junior (age 16 or 17) or a Senior (age 17 or 18) in highschool. Make sure you read the paragraph below about werewolves. There is a lot of different myths about them, but this will be the type of werewolf this roleplay will be about. Do not have your werewolf character do something that goes against this mythology. It just makes it easier when everyone is one the same page about the lore. Try and stay with the main story. Sub-plots are good but do not go off on your own little adventure. Interact with people and help progress the story. One last thing, if you break or extremely bend on of these rules, I will give you are warning. Three warning and you are out. And I almost forgot the most important rule! Have fun and be creative!

Werewolf Guide

Although a lot of werewolves first started out as normal people being bitten and infected, the werewolves in this story will all be born wolves. That means that both their mother and father are werewolves. This is because of the werewolves being separated from the rest of society so it is impossible for someone to be bitten. Werewolves spend most of their time looking like a regular person, though they have been forced to get a crescent moon tattoo on their wrist to make them stand out as werewolves. During the day, a werewolf CANNOT turn into a full wolf. If aggressive or defensive, a werewolf might shift part of their body. For example, their eyes will turn gold, their nails will turn to claws, and/or their canines will elongate and sharpen. During every night except for a new moon, a werewolc CAN change into their full wolf form. They do not have to, but the urge is there and grows stronger as the full moon grows closer. On the night of the full moon, all werewolf MUST change into their wolf form. They really just can't resist. Once in wolf form, it is hard to change back before day, but it is possible if the resistance is strong enough. Silver is the deadliest thing to werewolves. If they touch it, it burns their skin. If it enters their body, it poisons their blood and colors their veins black. Wolfbane, depending on the kind, can be a small irritant all the way to a deadly poison. Werewolves are meant to mate for life and are rarely ever known to leave one mate for another.

Personlity: Lena is serious most of the time and not easily humored even though her sarcastic comments usually have her friends rolling on the ground laughing. She is cynical and pessimistic, although she simply calls herself a realist. She is firm in her belief that as soon as something good happens, something equally as horrible must follow, and vice versa. This is why she doesn't strive for happiness and is actually more hopeful after a tragedy. Towards strangers, she is very manorly and kind but professional and often unemotional. She is fast-reacting in a situation and thinks logically in chaos instead of panicking like others might. She isn't the best person to come to when you have a problem, since she is brutally honest and won't try to make you feel better.
History: Lena grew up in the Night Shade reservation in southern Ohio. Although the chosen students to attend the new boarding school is supposed to be random, it may not be a coincidence that Lena was top of her class.

Personlity: To put it lightly, Nessa is independant. She hates someone trying to take care of her and would rather do the protecting then being protected. She is stubborn and refuses to ever admit she is wrong even if it is rather obvious. She definately has a firey personality and isn't afraid of the hard, brutal truth, no matter who it hurts. She is a natural rebel and won't let anyone or anything contain her, especailly a boyfriend. Even though she tends to be quite a presence in the room, she turns away from any male attention. She has her perfect guy picked out already in her mind and although she has yet to find this perfect blonde, blue-eyes, polite gentleman who is sure to sweep her off her feet, she will not waste any of her time on these immaturem egotistical college kids. In a word, she is the most hard to get girl you will ever find. Even though she is searching for that knight is shining armor, she hates every guy who tries this tactic on her. Her friends have tried to point this out, but Nessa obviously won't admit that she is searching for the wrong type of guy for her. While searching for true love, Nessa does take care of herself. Whether in a physical or verbal fight, Nessa will use any slick move or cheat to win. She is highly competitive and also very fit, so she isn't used to losing. Emotionally, Nessa isn't the most stable girl in the world. She rolls her eyes at touchy-feely moments and gags heart-to-hearts. She does have a very lost and lonely soul, though, that deserately needs someone to talk to, but Nessa just won't open up to anyone.
History: Her parents, Johnny Moore and Lera Flynn, had Nessa when they were just getting out of highschool. Lera put off a year of college to birth Nessa and take care of her during the first few months, and Johnny and her shared an apartment while he went to school. Unfortunately, there relationship went down hill and Lera had moved in with her parents before Nessa was even a month old. After that, it seemed that Lera had gained full custody, though her parents mostly took care of Nessa while she went to school. When Nessa was six, though, and after Lera had just moved out of her house and in with her new boyfried, johnny came back into the picture. He had a wife and a baby already on the way and he wanted Nessa to be part of his family. The next two years were filled with custody battles until Johnny and Lera finally gave up on full custody either way and split their time with Nessa. Over her next few years, Nessa was pressured by her father to change her last name to Moore while her mother, newly married, wanted to change her name to Cooke. Nessa refused either and stuck with the name she has always gone by: Flynn. Away from her two homes, Nessa is enjoying the freedom of not having to be part of either of her messed up families and can finally just be herself

Personlity: Rose is very hard to describe in one word, though every person she meets seems to see a different side of her. She can seem a bit snotty and rude around those who are soft spoken or cautious because Rose has definately been around the block a few times and knows her way very well. She is the opposite of naive and can easily take care of herself, though she has no real desire to help others. She can seem mean and cruel with her take on tough love but she doesn't really care enough to worry about what others think of her. She is brutally honest and sometimes insulting but she never really understands why people get mad at her. Don't get her wrong, though, since she is often very nice, though she doesn't go out of her way, and she is usually smiling and in a good mood and it takes quite a lot to get on her nerves. Girls tend to dislike her because she is very confident around guys and isn't afraid to mess around with them. In truth, there really isn't very much that scares her. She can't necessarily be called recklessly brace, but she is definately reckless in the face of danger. She doesn't sneak around a bad situation, but instead walks right through it.
History: Rose's parents used to be very proud of their daughter who didn't get caught up in grade school drama and was always patient and respectable, but things changed once Rose got into high school and started to do some very unrespectable things. She definately got a bad rep around the school for being the girl who has done anything and would do anything, or anyone for that matter. Once her parents caught word of this, they tried to ground her from parties and dances, but Rose would simply walk out the door and into a friend's car anyway. Later on, she would take the keys right out of her parents' hands and drive away to the latest get together. Out of options, her father used his connections to get her chosen for the new boarding, hoping to teach his daughter that there are consequences in life and you can't always just shrug them off.

Personality: Kaden is a hard figure to match. He is mysteriously secretive a lot of the time, and he always seems reserved to thinking. His strong physic make for a hard enemy if you're trying to get to him, but he doesn't let it go to waste. Although he makes himself seem like a loner, he cares about his friends deeply and knows if it weren't for them he would be bitterly alone. He would pay back their kindness with his life, and willingly puts himself at risk for that reason. He does a lot of things that seem stupid and reckless, but ultimately are for the better. He tends to sacrifice parts of himself and never allows others to know it. If they do figure it out, he acts standoffish and almost cold. He doesn't like saying exactly why he gives away so much, or why he does things after a lot of thought and not just out of impulse, but if someone were to figure it out, let's just say things may get strange.
History: Kaden's life has been nothing special so far (despite the whole werewolf thing). He made average grades - not bad enough to fail but not good enough to call stellar. He is involved in a lot of sports, and has been since the start of his middle school years. He does extremely well in these - mostly football and basketball. And seeing as he doesn't really have much to go for him as of college, he pursues his longings for a career in something athletic. Though seeing as his "extra curricular activities" got him put in a reservation, it's hard to say whether he has a future are all anymore.

Personality: Finn has an easy ability to make friends, as he is a fun loving and carefree guy. Tug him and he'll laugh right along with you. He's happy to go with the flow, and he loves cracking jokes and enjoying life - wherever the heck it may lead him. Because he tends to see the glass as half full rather than half empty, he doesn't truly understand what's it's like to feel like you've hit rock bottom. Although he has before, it just didn't register with him. He has a bounce back in his step, and if something's bothering him, then you know it's actually serious. He's not great at a one-on-one comforting thing, though he can help make anyone happier than they were before. Finn hates being locked up, and this is the one thing that can truly agitate him (not being able to roam free).
History: Finn tries his best to make friends and take names as a wolf (though he's smart enough not to boast about something so secret). When the wolves started getting rounded up, he knew the severity of the situation, though he kept his spirits up and went into hiding. He ended up getting caught anyway, though, and is becoming restless being stuck in a small area of space. He's usually a happy-go-lucky guy, but the one pet peeve he has is not being able to run around like a crazy maniac.

History: Kirby was born an only child. She has a normal life at home with her parents, who love her more than anything. Kirby has always been haunted by nightmares. Since she was little she’d had nightmares about wolf-creatures that appeared in her dreams. Whenever she was having a good dream these creatures would take over the dream and scare her so much she’d wake up screaming. Afterwards her head would throb and she wouldn’t be able to get to sleep. When the day came after the dreams she’d be very tired at school and the teachers always wondered why she always was so exhausted on those days. Personlity: Dare appears quite full of himself. In reality, he is a complete sweetheart. If he saw someone in pain, his first instinct would be to run and help them. However, he has his problems. Darrell has never been one to fit in easily. He loves to write and often daydreams. His entire life, he's been teased for having his head in the clouds so much. Because of this, he acts like he doesn't care about anyone but himself. He is not afraid to hit anyone who annoys him and almost got kicked out of his last school for talking back and fighting. Again, he acts like he doesn't care but it secretly bothers him that he let himself get out of control so much. What he really wants is a fresh start where nobody knows him so he can try to fit in better and be a better kid.
History: Darrell always had a smart mouth but he was very respectful once put in his place. His father, who he was very close to, used to tease him by saying that it was like biting a dog on the ear. However, his father was mugged one night and shot. After that, he spun out of control. He became angry and talked back in school, picked fights with bullies, and argued with his mother. However, he'd almost always apologize to her soon after. After one bad fight between them, he asked her what he could do to get rid of some of his anger. She suggested running. He took up track and cross country and quickly became quite a runner. It did help with his home life, but he still got into trouble at school.

This is because she's a complete sweetheart, a sucker for a good romance book or movie, and slightly gullible. She knows someone could easily take advantage of her so she tries to stay out of other people's business if she thinks it isn't too serious. If someone was really in need of a friend or help, however, she'd want to be there.
History: Lor grew up on Dark River reservation in New Mexico. She's always been curious about life outside of the reservation and has desperately wanted to experience it.

History: Bethany was born in Miami, Florida. She grew up surfing and hanging out on the beach, mainly because she had a lust for surfing and because she lived in a beach house. Bethany entered many surf competitions as a young girl and pre-teen. On Bethany's 14th birthday, her older brother was attacked by a shark while surfing in a competition. Leaving him without an arm. On that very day, Bethany made a promise to help train him and to help him get back onto the surf board and surf like a regular kid. It took many months for him to learn, slowly but surely though, he made progress. Bethany's mother and father soon got into many arguments about the medical expenses and the bills. Pretty soon, Bethany's mother demanded a divorce; Her father agreeing to it. Bethany and her father moved to London to live with his sister. Bethany was miserable, she left all her friends back in Miami, including her brother. Soon her father decides Wyoming is the best place to live because of jobs. The rest is in the plot.

Personlity: Seth is very loose and very outgoing. He loves trying new things but most of all he loves tormenting his sister. They often play fight but sometimes, things get out of control. Seth will defend himself and his sister with everything he has. So don't think for one moment he's going to be an easy take down. Seth is really into NASCAR and stuff like that. Not really much of a surfer. When he becomes of age, he said that he would want to be a NASCAR driver and hopefully make it to the World Grand Prix.
History: Seth was born in Miami, Florida. While his sister and brother pushed more and more towards the huge waves and adrenalin rushes, he prefered to just sit and draw cars. Everyone thought Seth would be the odd child out of the bunch, but really he wasn't. Seth would sneak out every night and go surfing, no matter the weather. Pretty soon his sister found out and they surfed together at night, looking out for one another. One day, when the championship surfing title was on the line in a race, there was a horrible accident. Seth's brother, lost his arm. He didn't know what to do and soon after, started feeling guilty for his brother's accident. Nobody understood why though. Seth began sketching and drawing the sea. Rolling waves, blistering sun, blonde sand. All for his brother while he stayed in the hosptial. Seth always visited his brother on every chance he could get, telling him about how big the waves had gotten or how hot it was. When Seth's parents divorced, he got to choose who to live with. And he chose his father, since his father a retired NASCAR driver, he felt he could learn more from him. His father had stopped NASCAR driving after an almost fatal accident, knowing he had to be around for his kids.

Everyone - Here is a little description of the "campus" just so everyone is on the same page and we don't have any conflicting descriptions. There is just one dorm building that has three floors, girls on the very top and boys in the middle. Each of these floors has three bedrooms with two beds, two night stands, two desks, and two wardrobes (sp?). There is a large shared bathroom on each of the bedroom floors. The first floor is the common room with two sofas, a bookshelf, a movie shelf, a TV, and a couple of chairs scattered around. This is the only room that is carpeted. Right behind the dorm building is the practise field and indoor gym and courtroom. Because these students won't be competing with other schools (because of the werewolf issue and all) sports will just be scimiges. This is also the place where dances will be held. To the north of the dorms is the cafetaria whose food is serves on the main ground floor with places to eat up on the lofted second floor. It even has a balcony for eating outside. To the east is classrooms that are all in one building. Everyone takes the same classes since there are only twelve: English, Pre-Calc, US History, Lunch,Mixed Science, Art, Study Of Supernatural Theory. To the west is the offices building and also the rooms where the teachers live. There are only six of them (one for every class) plus the principal.

Alright, lets get this started! We will start with all the students arriving. There will be no classes this day.

Bic:// Lena wondered how hard she would have to hit her head off of the window in order to knock herself out long enough to black out the most awkward, hour-long bus ride ever. She might only have one shot at it considering the principal, who resembled more of a body guard/police officer than an education worker, was only sitting six seats in front of her. Considering she was only one of twelve on the bus and one of six that the princaple, Mr. Langley, kept glancing at, she might just be noticed. Ditching that plan, Lena decided to close her eyes and attempt sleep. On this bumpy back road, it was impossible.

Nessa tried to enjoy the music blaring from her headphones right into her ears, but the music was only giving her a head ach after being on nearly full volume for over an hour. Despite the rainy weather outside and the dreary looks on most of the other kids faces, Nessa couldn't completely wipe away the smile from her face and it tugged the corners of her lips up in a pleasant smirk. All she could think about was the fresh start she was getting a year eariler than she thoughts she would have it. No one on this bus knew her as the girl with two families or that girl without any parents at all. At this new place, everything would be different, and she was definately going to avoid talking about her parents at all costs.

Rose sat in the very back of the bus, thinking over the conversation she had had with her father just that morning and nearly laughing at some of his advice about being a new person and making new friends and better choice. As soon as she had exited the airport and took note of the people getting on the bus, especailly the male portion of them, Rose had completely forgotten everything her father had previously said. Already plannning a dorm party with the specail bottles full of fun tucked away in one of her bags, Nessa barely noticed the practically dirt road suddenly morph into actual concrete as the bus finally pulled into the campus.

Finn had tried to be optimistic about this; after all, they finally got out of those stupid reservations, right? He couldn't help but feel a bit jittery - half from excitement and half from wanting to talk to someone but not sure who to approach first. He finally decided upon a nice looking girl who had her headphones in her ears. He realized she was human, though, and somehow that stopped him. Why did it? He frowned in dismay. Humans were the reason they had been put in reservations at all, but then again... not all of them were to blame were they? At least these were trying - or being forced - to get along with the werewolves. With much hesitance, Finn finally decided to approach Nessa. He got up from his seat - which had been two rows behind hers - and sat a few inches away from her in her same row. "Uh, hi there... I'm Finn. Who are you?" He managed a half smile - nervous, by all standards for him.

Kaden simply sat in his spot, towards the back, though not so close to the back to be sitting too close to Rose. As much as Kaden tried not to hold grudges, he simply could not help it. His thoughts were always in overdrive, and this left too much room not to dwell on things. Humans were the reason they had been locked up in reservations like prisoners. What had been their crime? Turning into wolves? Really? Kaden could always just stick to the werewolves as friends, but who was he to talk about friends at all? He never knew who exactly to trust anymore.

Darrell was on his feet before the bus completely stopped. When the bus pulled up to campus, he was on his feet, throwing his iPod into his backpack and swinging his backpack over his shoulder. He didn't like being told what to do so he wondered how this would go for him. However, it was exactly what he'd been after: the perfect fresh start. However, he couldn't stop his mind from wandering back to the heartfelt goodbye he'd shared with his mom. His mother had been in tears when she wished him good luck at the airport. His heart ached as he thought about it. He loved his mother and it was hard to say goodbye. However, this would be good for them. She deserved a break. Dare's gaze traveled to two teenagers sitting in the back, a girl and a boy. He glanced down, not wanting to be caught staring, though he was curious about everyone on the bus.

Lor was leaning against the window, one knee up, one arm hanging over it, as the bus pulled up. She made no move to get up and get off, instead choosing to exam the other kids. Six wolves and six humans under the same roof. She scoffed to herself. This was never going to work. In high school, when you don't like someone, you take care to avoid them. With twelve students, that would be near impossible. Yet, she couldn't help feel excited. This was a completely new environment. These humans had no idea what it was like to be a wolf, just as she had no idea how they felt as humans. They were completely different and yet living under the same roof. This might end up being the most difficult thing she ever had to do. That is what excited her about it.

Bethany leaned her head against the window, taking a few moments to process everything. Digging down deep into her bag, she felt around for her phone. Finding it with ease. She slid her finger across the screen, typing in her password and checking her messages. Taking a quick peak at her brother, she noticed he wasn't at all nervous. "Aren't you nervous about this?" She said, rubbing her shoulder. Bethany couldn't help but feel a little nervous about it. After all, she'd be living under the same roof with a bunch of monsters! Bethany slid her phone back into her bag, pulling out a candy bar and taking a piece off the top. Savoring the rich chocolaty flavor.

Seth rolled his eyes, cluthing a pencil and sketch pad tightly. "No. The only thing I'm worried about is not being able to find a hottie to go out with me." He smiled. "But I know that will never happen, chicks dig me." He said, leaning back. They were seated in the very back of the bus. That's how Seth liked it. Noticing a girl across from him he smiled, "I'm Seth. And your pretty." He said, directing it to a girl by the name of Rose. Seth was a smooth talker but he wasn't to bright when it came to other things like school. Somehow though, Seth always seemed to pass with good grades. Surprisingly.

Nessa had been counting away the many reasons why leaving home was so amazing when she noticed out of the corner of her eye someone slink into the seat next to her. Noticing this person was of the male gender, Nessa's light smile faded slightly. Until she took a closer look. With another glance, Nessa took note of his perfectly placed blonde hair and sculpted face. Her lips morphed into a grin again as she stared up at him like an idiot with her earbuds still in. Luckily, she noticed her mistake and quickly tugged them out in time to hear his name. "I'm Nessa," she replied as coolly as she could even though, in her mind, she was quicky catigorizing him as the perfect type for her. "It's a pleasure to meet you," she added before holding out her hand politely for a handhshake.

Rose was dragged out of her thoughts by the voice of a guy beside her. He obviously wasted no time getting to the point, which Rose had absolutely no problem with. "And that's the worst pick-up line I've ever heard. Not corny or cute at all. Though, to the point." With a shrug, she finally responded to Seth's unspoken question. "I'm Rose. And you're not to bad yourself."

Noticing the sudden change from winding back roads to smooth asphalt, Lena immediately opened her eyes again and stared out the window. The mist of the rain made it impossible to see anything more than shadows of buildings as they passed them by. It didn't take long for the bus to stop in front of what Lena assumed to be the housing building. As the vehicle stopped, Mr. Langley stood up and announced, "Everyone please grab your things and enter the dorm building. Please remain in the lobby unti your room assignments are given."
