Most pics of kopa hes dead o.O what is with all the depressing pictures ¬_¬ This whole zira killed kopa thing all the fan fics are the same its the same story. It gets boring

Like for example on google if you type in "kopa" almost every pic is kopas body with blood all over it and simba or nala crying near it or ziras paw.

More creativity is needed if you use your imagination you could have alot more to the story than just "kopa was killed by zira and then zira gets exiles then kiara was born then she grew up and married kovu then kopa returns and marries vitani" I can't even count how many times ive heard that storyline in fanfics

Anyway just dont understand why everyone wants to make kopas story so depressing

Theory of Zira killing Kopa is very popular, and with very populat theories, some fans have thendency to think it's cannon.
In fact Kopa is not canon in the movie. This mean he wasn't killed, lost, whatever. He just wasn't there completely. Not existing, that's all, definitely not murdered!

It kinda annoys me too that almost all images with Kopa pairs him with Vitani. "Kovu is with Kopa's sister so let's pair Kopa with Kovu's sister too!"

I know kopa isnt canon but the fan stories are all the same and I like kopa/vitani paring but thats just opinion its annoying when people say those theories are official

I'm sure if I were in the Lion King fandom more, I'd agree with you (in that the fans should be more original). But as it is, I can't say I blame the fans for favoring the depressing story. A sadness like the loss of a life (especially from one so young), makes for a better story as it embeds a sense of personal feeling and realism in the viewers. I feel that's part of the reason to why films like the first TLK movie become classics. Through Mufasa's death the viewer is likely to mourn with Simba a bit, and that makes a bond with the character that makes them love the movie. Fans know this and try to remake that themselves through the rumored plot of Kopa's death, perhaps in also hoping it'll get themselves fans and bring more attention to their gallery.

Tis my theory anyway. I like the approach myself to fandoms where a character dies. It's sad, yes, but that's what makes it real.

Firstly it's just an opinion people have, people are entitled to those... People draw him dead because it's dramatic and expresses their opinion on his existance and also I typed in Kopa and only 1 result was of him dead, and another him being attacked. So not really most.

I have to agree, it's kinda bothering me too. On DA, it's kinda full with dead Kopa's, or Zira who attacks him. In every comic he dies because of Zira. Then they say that's the reason why Zira is banished. The point is, when they are already so many images of Kopa dead, people starts to believe that, and make it canon. Or they make a whole other version, where Kopa survives and comes back later and marries Vitani. So VitaniXKopa starts to annoy me.
In my version, Kopa was born before Kiara. Simba wanted to be a very good father after what happened to his, and maybe he kinda overreacted. He put a lot of pressure on the cub, so Kopa ran away. He met his uncle, Mheetu and both started a pride. Vitani is not his mate. Zira is never mentioned.
Or in my other universe, he just don't exist.

The whole idea of Kopa being dead, or Zira having butchered him is a popular theory and many fans accept it (branding it fanon). Although, I am slightly annoyed by the lack of creativity in the fandom, I like to call those who accept the fanon as canon: "????" (Shipuru/Sheeple)

Okay, sure, these images/drawings are often very sick, showing fur ripping and lots of blood, and then the sadness of Simba...But I remember someone saying that Kopa's death/loss was one of the possible reasons for Simba to be overprotective of Kiara, not wanting to lose a cub again. And I myself agree with that idea a lot, even if my own theory about Kopa is different. So with that argument around it could be quite easy to accept the theory of Kopa being killed, since it would fit well with the plot of TLK 2.
Or, just because Kopa isn't in TLK 2, but fans still know about him from the books, Zira killing Kopa appears to be the simplest and the most believable theory of his disappearance.

yeah i mean to be honest the whole Kopa being killed by Zira drawings are just alittle to much in my opinion and i mean i agree with Troll Berserker that where Vitani is Kovu's sister and Kopa is Kiara's brother which would be weird if they ended up together. But in my version it comes to find out Vitani isn't Kovu's real sister but just a cub that Zira found after they killed her parents and brought her back to scar as a possible heir but scar wont allow it since she was a girl but yeah no blood relation to either Kovu nor Zira and yes Kopa comes back and they fall in love which thats just me though XD lol

ikr! In my story, Kopa fell in love with Vitani and Zira tried to attack him but missed leaveing no marks or blood and he ran off. And Zira told everybody Kopa was dead.(like Simba's story) Then Kopa comes back and marries Vitani. (also Kopa has a brown mane and it's a Kovu-style mane NOT Simba-style)

yeah exactly idk why they show him dead all the time and that thing with zira saying that he was dead it is like perfect sense

yeah well maybe people have different theories about kopa so really nothing we can do about it we cant change peoples opinoins
