Plot:
A rogue male named Brutus, 4 years old, has discovered a near perfect land. He and his sister now claim. Next to the waterhole and under a bunch of shade trees. A sun bathing flat rock is also in sight. The land and it's in inhabitant are flourishing now. Brutus has rightfully won many battles against males who thought they could over throw him easily. Brutus finds it's a little harder then he expected, rival prides are attacking when Brutus isn't expecting it. He will need to grow his pride bigger and stronger to over come the rivals and keep his sister and her cubs safe from harm.

Brutus::
He lied on the ground, sprawled out on the warm sandy area. Samantha's cubs walked by him, sniffing him as they walked by. Brutus grunted some, letting the cubs know he was tired and wanted some rest. They understood and ran after their mother. Tackling each other and laughing. Just enjoying theirselves.

Clove walked silently, ears flicking and tail dragging on the ground. Max jumped around and was all over the place, somehow managing to chase a lizard while remaining at her side. She laughed softly as she watched him, she loved him so much.

Max had dropped back and was whining, Clove looked back at him, which shut him up instantly. "Stay close." she told him softly, she had scented other lions and she wasn't about to loose her son to some idiot lion, who thought he was a snack or something, she made plenty of noise to avoid startling anyone as they arrived.

Clove stepped out of the bushes and paused, Max, being Max ran out from behind her, and before she could stop him he tripped on a stick and fell on his face not three feet from the other lions, she shook her head as he cried in alarm and scrambled back to her.

Clove hesitated, then walked forward, slightly comforted that these lions weren't a threat. She looked back as Max hesitated, she beckoned him on with moving her head and he raced to her, snagging her tail in his teeth before she could flick it away, she growled at him softly.

He stood again and walked to the watering hole. He took a few sips of the murky water, waiting for Samantha to come back with her cubs. She was soon at his side, whispering things into his ear. Brutus let a slight rumble slip from his throat. Sammy stop it. He said firm and the cubs took off. Running around, playing with each other. Samantha walked after them.

Clove watched as the other lioness herded her cubs, who were playing and laughing, she wished that Max had a sibling his age. His father had killed them all but him. She had stopped him then, from killing Max as well. She flicked her tail away as soon as he released it and walked towards the lion.

Clove stopped, maybe they were mates, she couldn't take her place if they were, that wouldn't be right, she turned, making sure that Max was with her, feeling sheepish about thinking otherwise about the lion.

Romeo::
Uncle Brutus. Can we go hunting with you today!? Chloe chimed in, "Yeah can we!?" Brutus groaned some and looked at the cubs. He replied, "It's to dangerous. When your older sure." Romeo and Chloe sighed as their ears and tails dropped. Romeo tackled Chloe after a few moments, laughing as he tried to pin her down. He noticed another cub and perked his ears.
