Plot:
Wolves usually are together in a pack, but sometimes a wolf has this urge, to go out and make their own lives. They want to find out what is out there for them. One female wolf sets out from her pack, sick of her many brothers and sisters and bored of the happy go lucky pack life. One male wolf sets out as well, to see what fate will throw him. Destiny is in their favor, maybe they just might find each other.

Rosie took in her surroundings. She was never sure where she was, not anymore, she had left her pack about a month ago and hadn't looked back. Now was one of the times she was regretting it. She looked around her, she was hungry and lost, miserable as well. She kept walking though, she didn't know where to go now. She looked around for what seemed like the thousandth time, the forest was quiet and white, her fur ruffled in the cold. It was sort of pretty. She sniffed the air, there was nothing. Nothing but silence and the cold bite of the falling snow.

Aussie, a tall and slender wolf, Had also left his pack, but he left it 3 months ago and was starting to grow weak. Herds left, and it was not the best time in the world to leave the pack. He shook his coat and the clink of metal around his neck broke the silence in the forest. He was wearing a collar, he couldn't get it off. His pack gave you collars if you where in line for something important, Alpha. or Betas. He was going to be a Beta, His collar was blue. He was annoyed of the collar. just something around your neck slowly killing him from getting tighter.

He sniffed the air, dead. Nothing He was close to the mountains that surrounded a valley. They where covered in snow, and he just wanted to get away from here. But he was too weak to climb a 2000ft tall mountain to get over it. Not even the lower ends. The tallest mountain in the area is a little over 4000 ft tall, and he was wanting to get over a 1000foot over head between mountains that where a little over 2000 ft tall. He couldn't do it. He just couldn't.

Rosie kept moving, she had no choice, sure she had her fluffy cost, but if she stopped, she would lay down and not get up. She would freeze. She looked around again, desperate for something, anything, someone. She sighed and sneezed several times. Things weren't looking good for her. She looks up at the impossible mountains and wished she could just go home.

Aussie soon gave up. He fell into the snow and shivered when his body hit the snow. "I never should of left.." he said.

Rosie sighed and started trotting. She couldn't stop not now. The snow fell and she caught a movement in the corner of her eye, she looked other and turned, approaching it. She was curious.

Aussie coughed loudly. Before he moaned quietly then. Now he was just in pain.

There was a flash of white fur and she spotted a rabbit, she was so hungry, she sped towards it, but just missed it as it slipped into his hole. She heard coughing, and perked her ears, alert.

Aussie looked around. He wanted to shout for help, but he couldn't trust anyone out here yet. "Sorry for leaving mother..." he said before a tear came from the corner of his eye and hit the snow.

Rosie saw the wolf before he saw her, she could tell he was in much worse shape than she herself was. She had thought of herself as being in bad shape, but she felt so bad for this wolf, she felt all need to help him. "He... Hello..." she said softly, as not to disturb him.

Aussie looked over slowly seeing a lovely girl wolf coming closer to him. He put his ears back more at every step she took towards him and lowered his head. She didn't look in bad shape, well not as much as him. He really couldn't speak without it being a whisper as much. He just wanted to say Hello back. but he would shudder to much from the cold around him.

Rosie padded trough the snow and put her head down, she didn't know what to do, she could see in his eyes that he needed her and that he wanted to talk. "it's okay." she said softly. "you'll be okay."

Aussied coughed a few more time before he moved his paw towards her slightly. He slowly nodded before he set his head all the way down on the snow.

Rosie remembered what her mother had once told her 'Rosie love, you must pack the snow in order to stay warm.' Rosie started to dig. She dug around them, 'build a den of snow when all hope fails.' her mother had said. She sighed and looked at the other wolf.
