Okies, I love love love love love LOVE the movie War of the Worlds. But anyone elso notice the goofs?

1. The machines' sound effect is so cheap. You can tell they used a foghorn
2.Uh, hello, I would have liked a motive for the aliens trying to kill us blink.gif

OMG, I loved this movie too!! My dad made us all watch the original before we saw the remake (and it was funny as heck!!), so the ending didn't come as a surprise.

The foghorn was pretty obvious, but it still was pretty creepy!!

And if you payed attention to the introduction, (with Morgan Freeman?) we were told the motive. The martians have been watching our planet prosper and grow for so long that they become envious -- or jealous -- of us. So they decided to...move in. Why they tried to kill us? Hello? What ELSE is going to power their ships and grow the Blood Vines? :roll:

Lol okee dokee then, my frend was reading the Novel and sqribbled out a paragraph and replaced with my favorite word....*poot*

Thanks Suka. I musta forgot that part. I'm starting to see a trend in the motive thing. They copied that in my other favorite movie, Independence Day blink.gif
