Well, you've probably already assumed it's Balto, considering the location of this forum post. Either way, I was really surprised to see this in a shop. I've never seen it out in the wild before. It made me want to download the film when I got home, but I settled for 'My Girl' instead (yeah, I'm one of those people that go to the third largest shopping centre in Europe to look for movies to download when I get home). Anyway, if you don't believe me... http://images.conay.co.uk/IMG_1920.jpgNow, if you inspect closely, you may see two boxes to the right of the DVD that looks suspiciously like either WolfQuest and Wings of Change, or just WolfQuest. I'm not sure, I only noticed it when making this post (I would go back to Bluewater on Friday/Saturday, but I have a Coldplay concert and then all the Jubilee stuff).

Whoa, nice catch! The other two DVD's are clearly WOC and WQ.

That is a good find, Conay! Shoot, I haven't seen a copy of any of the movies by themselves in a few years; the only Balto-related DVD I've seen is the "Family Favorites" 3 movie set with Balto, LBT and An American Tail. Argh... Dear Universal Studios:
What is taking you so long to just release all of the Balto movies in a three-movie set? It would be so awesome if you guys did that - seriously.
Sincerely, ALL BALTO FANS EVERYWHERE
...yeah, I think that's enough. - Juuchan17

Saw that once a while ago, but I didn't buy it. Last night, though, I saw not only ADGTH but We're Back: A Dinosaur's Story on sale. Part of me wanted to buy them, but I didn't.

Orig: I've seen that 3 movie set all the time at Walmart - I think they sell it for 10$? - as well as We're Back!, an ADGTH/2 movie set, SON/2 movie set and even a couple of the American Tail sequels [not the good ones; it's the DTV ones that basically retconned "Fievel Goes West"] for 5$ each. Shoot, when I got all of my Balto movies, they were in Walmart... for 5$ each... and that was about 7 years ago. I've never seen them there ever again... or in any place, save for websites online like eBay or Amazon. It's ridiculous, honestly. - Juuchan17

Kind of amused Balto is going for £7 while Alvin & the Chipmunks 2 is at £4. I saw WQ & WoC in Fopp about a year ago, and in HMV. xD At least they're still in distribution amirite?

Last time I saw any Balto movies in any store anywhere was back in 2003 (such a good year) at Walmart. Balto 3 for about 10 or so dollars, I couldnt get it....and the next time I was at Walmart it was gone.

Rebelness wrote: That's really weird, because very recently I was in HMV and found all 3 Balto movies as well! Exact same covers and everything. So I bought the first one since I had lost my current copy - which was bought online. It must be a current UK trend - finding the Balto movies in-store. xD That's seriously cool. Where was this HMV?

St. James Shopping Centre in Edinburgh, more specifically just at the edge of Prince's Street. I'm not very good at directions. xD
