Today I heard that the Walt Disney Company is offering to buy Pixar Animation for over 7 million dollars.

What do you guys think will come about if all things work out?

I think if it goes as planned, . . . heck, I'm not sure what to think. Most of the movies that Disney is releasing to theaters in the years to come are all computer-animated . . . so maybe Pixar could help them?

But . . . will it help Disney? Hmmm . . . . .

I was just going to make a topic about this

I don't know for the moment if it's good news or bad news. I would say bad if this means they will give a huge amount of money that will not be brought back before many years, and if this means the true end for their traditional animation projects.

I think it will, I mean they have worked together for a while and the kids love it! They like the Pixar charicters better than the cones from Disney.

I'm glad they've cancelled that then, it wouldn't of been half as good as the other two if they did carry on with making it.

NOOOO. Pixar has never been a part of Disney, they had an agreement to make 5 films for Disney and that's all. And this agreement will finish with the film Cars that should be released this year. But now that Disney has bought Pixar, so they will obviously make films together.
