Place to Call Home [LL2546 & Egg]

Plot:

David is new to Britain, has been for a few days now. He'd been looking for a job when he spotted Martin, a poor aeroplane pilot who'd recently been kicked out of his place in an attic by the landlord (who'd claimed that Martin needed to get a real place to stay). When David hears the landlord tossing the guy out into the streets, he can't help but offer him a place to stay at his new home, and after much convincing, Martin accepts. The two move in together, and Martin and David get to know each other, the good and bad, but before they know it, something has changed. They can't look at each other without their faces heating up, they scoot around one another in the hallways to avoid touching. What's changed? Martin, who's never been loved before in his life, is in for a rather large surprise when he figures out what's been going on.

"I'm sorry Martin but you really can't stay up there!" A tall man said with a disapproving frown, shoving the skinny lad in a striped shirt out the door, his one duffel-bag with him. The ginger looked crushed, and utterly terrified, but grabbed his bag obediently.
"Please sir, you don't understand I have nowhere else to go-" He begged, but the door was simply slammed in his face. He sighed, rubbing his arms to try and stay warm as he looked around. Where was he to go now?

David ~
Cold winds grasped his nose and ears. Turning them a rosey red. David walked along the cold sidewalk alone, taking in the beautiful scenery. He was new to the area and didn't know his way around very much. Moments after crossing a solem street, David noticed a man being evicted by his landlord. He couldn't help but watch and feel pity for the poor boy. David paused and watched.

Martin sighed, fog ghosting out of his mouth as he looked up at the sky. What in bloody hell am I supposed to do now? He wondered, Well I could phone Douglas..but he'd just laugh at me.. He decided against calling his pilot...Well they were friends but they fought and argued constantly. He was sort of like a big brother to Martin. He sighed, leaning against the building, trying to figure out what he was going to do next.

((Oh, you don't need to put the 'David ~' above your post. Kind of unnecessary))

He noticed the man lean on the building and he went over to him. Parden me sir. I can't help but noticed you being evicted. I will do you a kindness and allow you to live with me for a while, if you'd like. David had an accent and it was clear. He knew what it sounded like and he knew people mocked him because of it sometimes. He looked at Martin again after glancing away.

Martin stared at the man for a moment, before shaking his head.
"Oh no, I couldn't..We've only just met. I don't want to be a bother, don't worry I'll..I'll find a place." He stammered, staring wide eyed at the man.

Suit yourself. He said and turned away. He began walking down the road and to the store. He went into the department store and glanced at the clothes. Feeling the shirt fabric. Cheap American trash. He said and walked away. David looked at the clerk and huffed slightly, walking away.

Martin shivered and sighed, watching the man walk off. He slumped against the building, wondering what he was to do. He sat like that for maybe an hour, before standing and slinging his bag over his shoulder.
"Suppose I should get looking for a place to stay.." He mumbled to himself.

He walked back to his house, in the garage sat his prize posesstion. He opened the garage door and smiled some. He had brought Italy with him. He had purchased an Italian Formula 1 car before he left Italy. His car was green,red,and white. He smiled some and looked at the shiny car. Magnifico. He said and shut the door. He always talked Italian when he came to his car. He didn't want his car to be affected. David walked in the house, straight to the living room and lit the furnace, warming his face and hands.

Martin ended up on a park bench, resting his legs. He shivered, digging a coat out of his bag to pull it on. He looked around helplessly, leaning back on the bench. He watched an aeroplane fly overhead, and smiled slightly, wishing he was up there with them.

David picked up a good Italian book and began to read it. It was about romance. David liked romance and elegance. He was Italian, it was in his nature. David crossed his legs and looked at the book. He looked at the glowing furnace and then back at his book. Ew, gay marriages. There should not be any gay Italians. He said and looked at the book in disgust. He threw the book on the other end of the couch and stood up, walking to the kitchen.

Martin's thoughts trailed back to the man he'd seen earlier, the one who offered him a place to stay. Now he wished he'd said yes, but Martin couldn't. He'd never seen the man before in his life, and he could have been some kind of murderer. He shivered at the thought, but maybe it was just the cold.

He hummed a cheery tune and danced slowly around the kitchen. He looked at his pictures of his family that hung in the kitchen. David opened the fridge and grabbed a box a sugary cereal. David smiled some and poured it into a bowl, pouring milk and plopping a spoon in the bowl. David smiled some and sat in the kitchen, eating his cereal while he watched the t.v, on the Italian cooking chanels of course.

When Night fell Martin still was on the bench, but he was half freezing to death. He looked around and stood, rubbing his arms to warm up. He walked half a mile to find his van and climbed inside, turning on the heat. Why didn't I think of this earlier? He wondered, sighing as he settled into the seat.
