-This Is War-

Plot: In the lean mountains of Toronto, the wolves care only for their kind. In the city most near nature, the stray canines are quite different. The dogs have known since birth that the wolves hated them – it has been this way for generations. When one brave canine tries to change the feud between these two species, though, he pays the price with his life, but not before turning some heads in the pack society… Friends of their fallen comrade come to challenge the wolves to a war. This fight is meant to settle things once and for all, but not everyone is so keen on disputing in violence. Can the canines who seek to reunite them make a difference? Or will they be lost in the coming war?

Setting: Toronto, Canada

Rules:
- You must post at least two lines. I hate one-liners. Writer's block is fine, but if it becomes a constant excuse, I will have to kick you out.
- I would prefer if there were no 'side stories', as in that while everyone is gathered together doing something important, two or three characters are doing their own thing on the side that has nothing to do with the actual roleplay. Obviously there is a difference between the characters doing their own separate things and there being a side story.
- All basic AS rules apply.
- If you are going on vacation or cannot reply for a long period of time, please let me know so that I can pause the RP. Please realize that if it's an extremely long period of time (more than three weeks or so) I may have to unpause the RP before you return.
- Have fun and don't let this die!

Basic Personality: Spirit is the type to jump into things after a quick decision. He doesn’t rush into something unnecessarily, but if he feels it needs to be done, he does it without hesitation. Spirit follows his heart and tries his best to look past appearances, but sometimes even he has trouble not judging. He is not easily influenced and stands by his views indefinitely. He is a kind canine, though. Do not mistake him for aggressive, although he can be good at defending himself in combat.

He has a watchful eye and a keen ear, and is not easily influenced either. He can be tough to nudge, and his trust isn’t given to just anyone.

Basic Personality: Bloom doesn't always think things threw and just jumps into the action of doing thing. Even though other dogs see her as a week dog, she is meaner then she may look. Doesn't like wolves all to much. She knows that other are starting to change their mind she isn't changing it to quick

Basic Personality: May is very sweet and trusting of others. She has a big, kind heart that always sees the best in someone. But never do her wrong. She has a fury that will blind her with rage if you hurt one of her friends.

Surprisingly, if you get her to focus, or if the situation is serious, she is an excellent listener, though the conversation has to be interesting for her to stay engaged. She is loyal and stubborn, and what some might label as a "hot head".

It was an average sunny day in Toronto, and Spirit had gotten up early just to walk around town a bit. It seemed that these days the littlest thing entertained him, though he had a lot on his mind, and for this particular reason, he was trying particularly hard to distract himself. It had been a week since the news had come that one of his very good friends had been brutally killed by the wolves in the forest... he was still somewhat bitter about it, but he did not feel hatred towards the wolves so much as grief for the loss of his friend... A sigh escaped his white lips, and as he did so, a wisp of mist swam fluidly into the air, indicating the cold temperatures it gave off. With a bit of a ruff of his fur, Spirit set off on a course to see if he could find any of the other strays around town.

Shade, like Spirit, had been up early. Unlike the dog further away, however, the black as night wolf was standing by a particularly large tree, pondering the sky as if it were a beautiful piece of artwork. Indeed, to this canine who always looked at his surroundings so closely, it probably was such a thing. The sun radiated on his more heat absorbant fur. Having black fur did give its occasional advantages. Of course, the snow under his paw pads didn't exactly camouflage him, but it insulated the warmth a lot better than the white coated wolves. A billion thoughts raced through his mind like clockwork, and he made not one sound as he took a deep breath and turned his head down towards the trees.
