Introduction

Yes, I am trying this again...

Why? This roleplay has always been a success and has only died after members have left the site. I really want to have a good, successful roleplay again, so I am falling back on to this plot that I used back in 2009 and then again in 2011. I hope it as fun and successful in 2012!

Plot

To everyone who lives on 99th Street, the Silver Stream Foster Care Home is just a large house with lots of teenagers all living inside under the care of two very generous adults. What they don't know is how different this foster home is. Mr. and Mrs. Silver are actually werewolves, taking in strays from the streets. After receiving the bite, most teen wolves go off on their own. The Silver Stream pack gives them somewhere to stay until they come of age. But when you have a house full of teenagers, no matter what species, the fur is going to fly. Sibling revelry, human relationships, falling in love, learning to hate, and never being able to leave until your nineteen. The humans have no idea what these wolves are going through.

My Guide To Werewolves

The best definition of a werewolf that I can give is they are humans that have the power to turn into a larger and stronger version of the common day wolf. Therefore, they are not immortal, they live to about 120 years though that is very old for a werewolf, and live by human years. They are stronger than normal humans in their human form. They can only become full wolves in the light of Moon, but can change part way or one body part during the day time and the night of New Moon. They must change on the three nights of the full moon. They can range from very human to very rugged, depending mostly on pack life. They tend to have some kind of temper, which is worsened when they are changed. There is a ten thousand year old war between vampires and werewolves, so they naturally don't get along, but of course there are a few exceptions. When they are emotionally stressed, their eyes changed to gold, their canines sharpen into fangs, and/or their nails grow longer and darker into claws. The only things that can kill them are silver, fire, vampire, or another werewolf. Another name is lycanthrope.

4/26/2012 - We have officially started! I will no longer be accepting pack wolves, but members wanting to join or who are already involved may add more lone wolves and humans. Actually, I really encourage this! Just make sure to keep on eye on the Home's layout picture to see how much more room is left in the house. Keep this in mind if you plan on your character later joining the house.

4/17/12 - Because none of the other previous members have responded yet, I am completely opening up this roleplay to anyone who wants to join! The house only has so many rooms, so hurry up and get your pack wolves in! I will also be starting this roleplay in 5 days (Saturday), sometime in the late evning. I will always be accepting new charaters into this roleplay, so if you can't join now, check back later. If this roleplay is still alive, I will still take any new characters!

4/15/12 - All rooms are currently open to previous members Moki Hunter, WolfCall, Poison_Kiss, Pure_one, and YumiGoneMad. Personality: Bree is a tom boy who prefers to be outside rather than being cooped up in the house. She knows how to stand up for herself and isn't afraid to do so. She will argue when she doesn't agree with something and easily fights with others. When she is in a good mood, though, she can be sweet and kind and flirty, but there is also a tone of attitude in her voice no matter what she says. She is more brawn than brain and is very athletic. Bree is not the most clever and can be hard head, but she usually means well and is very protective over the younger wolves, especially her little brother.
History: Bree ran away from home when she was fourteen after a fight with her parents. She didn't go far, but she did venture into the woods on a full moon night. She had just been about to turn around and go home when a transformed werewolf attacked her. Luckily, she made it out a live, but she noticed something changing in her. A month later, during a rather nasty argument with her twelve year old brother while baby-sitting him, she shifted into a wolf and bit him arm. Afterwards, Bree was more traumatized than Matt since he thought being a werewolf was cool. She realized they would have to leave home, though, and found the Silver Stream Foster Care Home online. The next day, they disappeared from home without a trace.

Personality: Matt loves to joke around and always has a smirk on his face. He acts vain and cocky for the fun of it, but it really a selfless guys who always puts others before himself. He is the one to go to of you've got a problem, because he will always listen. He is very patient and seems to always know the right thing to say. Well, except when it comes to a girl he likes. When he is around a crush, he tends to over-do the "funny guy" act and usually says something really stupid. The only person he ever seems to get into a fight with is his sister, who seems to not want him to do anything fun.
History: His sister was baby-sitting Matt when he was twelve years old. He had already gotten into a fight with his parents about why Bree got to be in charge, so when she told him to go to bed, he snapped back at her that he didn't have to listen to her. The fighting escalated until Bree suddenly changed into a wolf. Matt was so surprise that he didn't even run or scream when Bree bit his arm then ran through the back door. After Bree explained the whole werewolf thing to him, Matt was very excited and really loved his new strength, which only seems to upset Bree more. She soon found the Silver Stream Foster Care Home, and the two of them run away to the town to join the pack.

Personality: Griffin is a natural born leader who is very protective over his pack mates. His biggest flaw is that he hates being wrong and tends to stick to his plan even when it is going to end in failure. He always makes up excuses for things that turn out as he said they would. When he makes a mistake, he refuses to talk about it and never apologizes to anyone for anything. He is also very obedient to his elder wolves (Mr. and Mrs. Silver) and tends to stick to rules. He is very patient, though, and hardly every yells at someone and tries to help someone through talking instead of scolding.
History: Griffin was only six years old when his family was attacked by a lone werewolf during a family camping trip. No one survived besides Griffin, but he hardly remembers that night unless those memories pop up in a nightmare every now and again. Griffin was bitten very severely though, and was lucky enough to be found by the Silver couple the next morning. The couple took him in and have raised them as their own. When he reached his teenage years, the Silvers saw that teen wolves were probably having trouble on their own and decided to open their house to other teenwolves.

Personality: Luna is, quite simply, a rebel who doesn't matter whose rules they are as long as she can break them. She loves the thrill of skirting on the edge of dangerous trouble and sometimes slips over that edge. She usually manages to escape anything life-threatening, though. She longs to feel free from everyone, which she thought she would find on the streets as a lone wolf. She hasn't yet found that satisfaction so she spends who time annoying strangers. She does have a very kind and fragile heart, though it is caged behind a stone wall of protective snide remarks and insults.
History: Luna feel in love when she was fifteen to a boy who lead what she thought was just a simple street gang. Later, she found out there were actually a pack of young werewolves who had taken over the city. Luna agreed to become one of them, but regretted the decision shortly after. The rowdy and violent gang was not what she wanted at all, and her relationship with the alpha grew abusive within a few weeks. One night, Luna ran from the pack and didn't stop until she was many miles away in a completely new town and state. Now, she had been wondering the streets, feeling like she doesn't belong and trying to fill the void that her ex-lover left in her heart.

But she does love who she is and won't change for anyone. She can be very clumsy when she is nervous and everyone knows she's a klutz. Despite her something dippy, "blonde" behavior, Nessa is very smart and one of the top ten in her class.
History: Nessa grew up on the end of 99th street, just a few houses down from the Silver Stream Foster Care Home. She never really associated with the people there except for those that she goes to school with. She is part of the track and dance teams, but also a sure-in for one of the leads of the musical. She talks to pretty much everyone at school and doesn't restrict herself to social boundaries.

Personality: Zac can be serious when he has to, but he's mostly a loving joke around. He's always been the class clown when he was younger and absolutely loves to see others smile. He's used to seeing the glass half full, not half empty though is extremely loyal no matter his quirks. The rest will be revealed.
History: Zac used to live a normal life before he was dared by a few dumb classmates and sent to the forest as his challenge. There he was turned into the creature he is today and he was so traumatized by the accident he never went to his regular friends again. He stayed in the forest, not knowing how to change back into his wolf form and not really wanting to anyway. He was forced to on the full moons, of course, and eventually got the hang of it. Even though he could have gone back to school and back home, he decided it was best to leave everyone behind. He didn't want to risk A) People asking where he had been all the time he was gone & B) Hurting the ones he loved and trusted. And so, he ran away, eventually landing in the town where the foster home was...

Gender: Male
Personality: Ashton's usual demeanor consists of being sly, defying, rebellious, and overall almost evil. Everyone else seems to classify him as just that upon first meeting him. He is like this naturally. On the outside... He's very impulsive, and actually confused and hurt on the inside. Though he'd never admit that to anyone else unless he was forced to. Ashton is very troubled when it comes to his past, or just emotions in general, and most of the time just tries his best to hide them. He'll do anything to make certain no one sees that. If someone happens to, and would try to know him better, they would see the person underneath. The part that's still somewhat human. His lost soul is crying inside, desperately seeking help, but confusion has invaded his mind, leaving behind a trail of thoughts leading him to believe he has to act like a true monster to evade his past and his feelings. He will betray you if he feels fit, and kills as if trying to prove he feels no remorse.
History: By Ash's 15th birthday, he had already begun to feel slightly rebellious towards his parents. He had always been a good student in school, never really disobeyed anyone, but all of a sudden, when his grades slipped a bit from stress, his parents couldn't handle it? They yelled and shouted at him as if he were a dog. He didn't like it one bit.
This was where a split personality started forming. He was hurt that his parents couldn't accept him, in some form or another, but at the same time began feeling it was his duty to defy them in order to show he wouldn't take it anymore. He slowly began letting his grades slip, more and more.
Every day his parents would yell even more at him, and this caused even more damage. Ashton began confusing everything. He had forgotten rational explanation, and it was beyond his understanding by now that his rebellious ways were making matters worse. It came to a point where his father slapped him across the face, so hard the teenager was knocked off his feet. He let out a few tears, the last he swore he'd ever shed, and ran out the door. His older brother followed him, little to Ashton's knowledge, in an attempt to try and convince him to come back.
Ashton ran through the city, far far away from his old home. He wanted nothing to do with his old life anymore. He wouldn't show weakness ever again. Not on the outside, at least. He'd bottle it up forever if he had to. And then it happened.
While stumbling upon one of the various alleys in the streets, he slipped against the wall and allowed himself to feel the pain, taking it all in like battle wounds.
Suddenly, the now 17 year old was confronted with a creature of darkness. A vampire. He didn't know it, either, until he felt blood across his mouth, that wasn't even his, and then fangs in his throat. He died then with another vampire's blood in his system. He awakened to find his brother leaning over his body, trying to help him up as Ashton's vision began fuzzing and clearing.
Ashton barely recognized his brother, and it was only after he nearly killed him did he realize there was strange blood spewn all over the floor. He felt his own neck. There were two bite marks there that would forever remain. He was horrified as he saw his brother's nearly dead body on the ground, and fled the scene quicker than any average human could.
He eventually went back home to get some things before he left town, but when he came, his parents were there to greet him with glares of hatred. They had found out about his brother. And they thought he was the murderer. His own parents attempted to kill their 'last' son. They shot him with bullets, they stabbed him with knives, but to Ashton's astonishment, nothing really bothered him. Except that his own parents were trying to murder him in cold blood. This was the ultimate breaking point, and he killed his parents out of rage. He drank their blood with savage delight, and later found his brother. Before his brother died, he tried the same thing that had happened to him. He gave his brother his own blood, then killed him for good. His brother was now a vampire too, and didn't like it. They grew apart overtime, even though they still held a brotherly bond for each other that could never be broken.
Before they were torn apart, though, they each received a matching pendant from a witch who wanted them gone from town. She hated the bloodshed and offered them a trip out of having to hide from the sun in exchange for them leaving innocent blood out of her town. They accepted, of course, and from then on were able to walk during the day without so much as a mild burn.
Ashton has a tattoo of a cross on his chest, as mild humor for himself, but he is aching inside like no one would ever know. And he's acted out in vain because of it. For all these years since...

Family: His brother is all he has left, since he turned him into a vampire. Though he has no clue where he is.
Other: Weaknesses that should affect him are the sun, wood (wooden stakes to the heart kill/bullets weaken them, etc.), a certain herb or two that are poisonous to and weaken his kind, and some witch spells depending on their potency. Werewolves are also a factor that could prove fatal. He has a chain around his neck that was charmed by a witch so he can't be harmed by the sun unless someone were to take it off. Though, he is always stronger at night then he is during the day, naturally.

Personality: Angela is sweet and caring for the most part. If she sees someone in a lot of pain it will bother her for days, which is why she doesn't ever watch horror movies. However, when any of her friends are in danger, she can step up to the plate and fight for them without a second thought. She is extremely smart and ca read people rather well.
History: Angela came from a very poor home. Her parents cared for her very much so she never felt like she was missing anything. However, she came home one day and found a werewolf fighting another werewolf in her living room. Her mother pulled her upstairs and into her bedroom and locked the door behind them. She explained that her father was a werewolf and had been part of a pack but tried to quit and the entire pack was furious. The leader of the pack was fighting him down there. The werewolf broke through the door and killed her mother. Angela ran downstairs and was changed by the werewolf, who brought her to the pack. She eventually managed to run away and found the Silvers. She graduated at 16 and started going to college.

History: Johnny was raised on the road with his parents until he was ten when they were killed in a car crash that he and his sister survived. He and his sister were taken in by a foster home and he talked her into running away with him because he felt like the home wasn't safe for her and they could find better.. He was eventually found by a pack and changed. When he wouldn't join the pack, they beat him up and left him by himself outside of a town. He eventually wandered, disoriented in the town the Silvers lived in.

A drunk man stumbled outside of a bar and turned into a wolf. He bit her without really meaning to but the damage was done. She managed to find the Silvers' home and immediately went to them. She kept an eye out for her brother and recognized him immediately.

Personality: : Flirty, obnoxious, hot-headed. Thinks he's charming and could win over any girl. Loves being seen as a hero, he thinks girls dig that. Very lazy, he's always in need of motivation, he dislikes working and would rather sit and relax or sleep. When it comes down to it he can be quick on his feet, but that's only in life or death situations. Finn is very good at taking credit (or blame) for things he didn't do. He's fairly quiet, and suprisingly thoughtful, he is tough, impatient, and isn't afraid to fight. He is brave, but has a lack of caution, acting on impulse instead of thinking things through, which has gotten him into trouble multiple times in the past. Honestly, he's actually a big softee, who's very sweet and thoughtful, and extremely protective over those he cares about.
History: The early years are unknown, but he lost his parents in a house fire. The authorities say it was an accident, but he knows better, he lived in a bad neighbor hood. Ooc:// Sorry it took me so long to reply. My life has been crazy and it's probably not going to get any better for at least another two or three weeks. But I really do want to keep this roleplay alive, so I am starting it now.

Before posting, please click the link in the first post to see the house and what room your character is in. I based this on the order the characters arrived at the house, their personality, and their age. If you really have a problem with any of the assignments or think your character would have chosen a different room/floor/roommate, please let me now as soon as possible so I can make the neccessay changes quickly and avoid confusion later on.

Bic:// Bridget propped her legs up on the banister of the balcony connected to her bed room. The air smelt crisp with the scents of autumn, but it also was nearly frozen with the freezing temperature the weather had turned into. As Bree leaned back even farther in her wooden outdoor chair, her head rested against the back and forced her eyes to stare up at the darkening sky. Gray clouds covered every inch of it, and the atmosphere was filled with the heaviness of an on-coming snow. The chilling wind blew through Bree's blonde hair, causing her to shiver for just a second. In only a thin, but long-sleeved, T-shirt, cotton shorts, and off-white ankel socks, Bree wasn't exactly dressed for the weather forecast.

Matt continued to lay in his ruffled green sheets, snoring contently as he slept well passed noon. Suddenly, with a particularly loud snoring, Matt's eyes shot open. He tossed and turned in his tangle of blankets, attempting to free himself from the cacoon he had made in the night. With a small yelp, he accidentally threw himself off the mattress and slammed on to the floor, just tied up in his sheets. "Ow," he groaned as he slowly wiggled himself free of the death trap. Not even bothering to pick up the mess, Matt practcally crawled across the floor to the door of his bedroom, which was a lot of effort for someone who had just crawled out of bed considering the room was rather large and meant to fit three comfortably. He turned the handle and tumbled out into the hallway, his brain still foggy from sleep.

Griffin took another bite from his buttered toast as he stared across the dining room table at a wall completely dedicated to pictures of the teen wolves. At the present moment, Griffin couldn't keep his eyes away from the photos of himself scattered among all the others hanging on the wall or sitting on the long wooden desk. Since Griffin had been here since he was six years old, the difference between his first school photo at kindergarten to the senior picture he had taken only a few weeks ago was striking. When had his hair grown so dark? What ever happened to the pudginess that used to be in his cheeks? Why was the only thing that seemed to be the same was the scar beside his right eye? Even so close to the beginning of the year, Griffin couldn't believe he was eighteen already. Which brought on the unsettling thought that in less than a year, he would have to go out on his own and leave Pack House behind. Trying not to think about this too much before it actually happened, Griffin ducked his gaze down to his glass of orange juice, studying it more intently than was called for.

Luna slowly ripped apart a nauseatingly pink peice of paper as she crouched on top of the rough cement wall that bordered the garden of the local highschool. As she picked apart the flyer, she let the strips fly through her hands and tumbled across the ground the confetti. The HELP WANTED tore in half by Luna's hand, and she crumbled it up into a ball and lazily dropped it from her limp hand. How stupid had she been to think that restaurante would hire a girl whose only home was the streets and who spent most nights inside the forest. The remainder of the flyer finally flew away in the wind, and Luna sighed as she watched her dream of a better life in a new town drifted away.

Nessa squinted her eyes up at the ceiling as she tried to remember this paragraph monologue she had to know by next week for the auditions for the school's winter musical that would open in January. Althought this production was nothing compared to the end of the year spring musical, the results of these auditions would greatly affect the part Nessa would recieve in the spring. Which is why Nessa currently found herself laying on her back on top of her bed, with her arm hung over the side to hide the words she was trying to remember. After nearly two minutes of silent concentration while Nessa searched her mind for the next sentence, she huffed out an annoyed breath and finally glanced down at the paper. "Of course! I knew that!" she scolded herself flung her arms out to the side in frustration.

Actually, I really encourage this! Just make sure to keep on eye on the Home's layout picture to see how much more room is left in the house. Taking in a deep breath he exhailed and knocked on the big wooden door. He was a little nervous about the people there. What if they didn't accept him as one of their own? What if... Justin's mind clouded with dreadful thoughts. Justin shook his head, stood up straight and waited for someone to answer the door. He had a backpack on but that held only import things such as his phone, toothbrush, toothpaste, brush, gel, and other things. Justin looked at his air jordans and thought of the people who might answer the door. He expected a grouchy old man or a crazy young wolf with wild eyes and a jittery personality.

Samantha wandered around the lone stores until she stumbled upon one store that looked promising. She noticed a girl inside. It wasn't a store. No. A resturaunt, she tapped on the window and took out a sharpie, writing on a sketch pad, 'Hi, I'm Samantha.' She grinned and walked in the store and looked at her. Samantha was always eager to make new friends.
