The Last Generation

Plot: Since the 1960s, the government has been working on a top secret operation that could revolutionize the entire planet... or destroy it brick by brick. Their work is almost complete, and it has taken all this time to finalize the first Time Machine. Test runs have proved that it indeed works, but there is a reason why man has never been able to visit the past or future before: It has deadly consequences. After the first test run, a few families are reported missing. It is nothing of major concern at first, but after the third test run, it becomes quite clear what is the cause of the issue.

A small city in Pennsylvania has lost many families, and although no one knows why, a group of daring teenagers set their goal to find out. They travel to Washington D.C. fast only to find that the reason behind the dissapearances lies within the top secret Time Machine. The trips throughout the past have erased the ancestors of today's human beings, and slowly individual bloodlines are beginning to vanish. The creators of the Machine choose to ignore the problems arising, and they are so attached to it that they are willing to do anything to protect it, including ensuring the extinction of mankind.

It's up to the few teens to shut down the Time Machine, when time is literally not on their side. Will they succeed in their vital mission, or will they become the Last Generation of human beings, then eventually erased once their ancestors are too?

Setting: Small City in Pennsylvania (beginning) ;; Washington D.C. (primary action)

Rules:

- You must post at least three lines. I hate one-liners. Writer's block is fine, but if it becomes a constant excuse, I will have to kick you out.
- I would prefer if there were no 'side stories', as in that while everyone is gathered together doing something imporant, two or three characters are doing their own thing on the side that has nothing to do with the actual roleplay. Obviously there is a difference between the characters doing their own seperate things and there being a side story.
- All basic AS rules apply.
- If you are going on vacation or cannot reply for a long period of time, please let me know so that I can pause the RP. Please realize that if it's an extremely long period of time (more than three weeks or so) I may have to unpause the RP before you return.
- Have fun and don't let this die! (I rarely come up good ideas nowadays...)

Name: Trey Fargo
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Personality: He is the type of person who is sneaky though loyal. He can get the job done, no matter how coniving he needs to be in order to do it, but he will only do it for his friends. Trey is, in a nutshell, sly, cunning, and smart in all the right areas. He has a pretty lithe form, so brute strength is not his strong suit. He prefers to wiggle his way out of a fight rather than actually fight it and is a true genius when it comes to the art of sneaking around. He has some experience with computers as well, but he really only cares to know this knowledge due to hacking possibilities. Trey wouldn't give up information on his friends/family for anything, as devious as he is. He is true to word and would rather die than break it. He's a great smooth talker, which means he's good at making friends, though it takes a while for him to sort out the truly special ones from just the ordinary ones who would just call him for a favor.
History: Trey has lived a pretty average life. The only true incident was that he was bullied a small bit in grade school, though he learned to weasel his way out of it quickly by the time he got into middle school. He makes average grades at school - nothing stellar, nothing awful. He once got into a car accident when his friend lied about being drunk behind the wheel, but thankfully the accident wasn't too bad and he managed to get away with just a scar on his forehead.
