I'm not talking about anyone in particular, but I've noticed after visiting quite a few profiles on the fansites that a lot of people are turning the comments sections into shoutboxes. And I don't mean like people posting a message or two every now and then, I mean like two or three replies every hour; continuing a massive conversation on them instead of PMs or shoutboxes. Naturally this makes looking for comments/etc much much harder with the clutter there, but it doesn't just interfere with modding. It gets pretty outrageous after awhile, in my opinion, and I would think it approaches being spam at a certain point.

I feel kinda bad about ranting about this, but maybe some of you that are doing this might see this and reconsider about posting so much on them. I'm sure that I can't be the only member to see this on profiles and be unhappy with it.

*shrug* It's their profile. They can do whatever they want with it as long as it's family appropriate. I've never been bothered by it.

I don't like it when people do that. If they want to chat with someone they can just PM that person. Or talk on a messenger off-site.

I agree with Paxis. They're not spamming the site, it's their profiles after all and as long as it's not offending or anything, why should you care people want to chat?

From a mod point a view, I'm with Wingrunner on this. Having had to go through page after page of comments on profiles is a waste of our
time and too much of a hassle. Just take it to PMs if it's going to be a conversation. It's not hard too do or is too much to ask I would think.

Sakujo,and Paxis have a very good point,they're not exactly spamming the site,I have to agree with them.

On one hand, I can definitely see how it would be annoying to go through pages and pages of comments, but I do have the question: What exactly are you looking for on their comments page anyway? Is it reported ones or something?

However, I don't see anything too wrong with just talking with someone on a profile. If someone doesn't mind the somewhat random behavior and lawls all over the place with smilies and hearts, then let him/her have it. Sometimes I wish their were more random comments on my profile. The way I see it I'd just keep the meaningful ones and delete the useless ones.

EDIT: Are you talking about the game (you just lost) where people "invade" each others profiles? Because if so, then yeah I see your point.

FURTHER EDIT: After trying to delete comments like the ones mentioned above on my profile and not being able to do so, I think I see what you're getting at, correct me if I'm wrong.
