Why am I sharing all of this?

Because I want to show you "Balto 4" supporters what it really means to make a movie. Its absolutely wonderful to have a dream and to be determined to accomplish it, but that is not enough. In order to fullfill your dream, you actually have to act upon it! You need to be realistic about your goals, and be prepared for all of the hard work involved. This can include different variables such as earning the money and support, gaining the talent, receiving the proper training and education, and having the right attitude! You can't just sit there and say "Lets make a movie!" when you have absolutely no idea what you are doing or how to approach it.

^ THIS.

First off, thank you for sharing these links. The concept art, character sheets [many that I have never seen before], backgrounds and other sketches are just lovely! They are quite inspiring, even to artists like myself [and many others].

Secondly, what I have quoted is something I wish many other Balto fans [and probably fans in other fandoms] would get into their heads. Thank you for the reality check; hopefully others will understand and get the message too.

And thirdly.... er, I can't think of a third one. Again, just 'Thank You" for this post. I doubt I could say that enough.

Thank's for showing us these. It is nice to see a site freely sharing this as some of it I have never seen before (though I have actually seen all the model sheets before, just not all in such a high resolution).

I actually have three of the storyboards from the third link (thought I have four storyboards total). The production drawings have always been out of my budget, though...

If you wish to discuss this further, please send me a PM (rather than fill up this topic with unrelated commentary and whatnot)

Notice, she tried to take this to PMs in the very first comment
I suggest you do so

Also, I will NOT lock this topic, it is a very good topic and recieved some compliments. This argument is only between JC and Zuko. I appreciate Juuchan trying to help out though.

Zuko: If you suggested taking this to PMs you should have, instead of continuing on this thread. This argument may be considered spam since it doesn't have anything to do with the topic and its only you 2 going at each other.

JC: Don't play innocent, you and Zuko never got along well, and if you don't have anything positive about ANY topic, don't post. You have created arguments with your unnecessary comments. Also, Im sorry, but to attack Zuko by saying she created a picture about "Drama Source' is rather ironic. Considering the fact that YOU suggested a picture into the must see calling Balto Source "Bored Source"

What makes a animated movie or show inspiring, memorable, or powerful is more than computer generated art can provide. Thats where the orchestra comes in, and between both music and art in itself is what makes a animated film so spectacular.
