Beaches Stables

Welcome to Beaches Stables, the number one riding academy in England. Set upon the sandy beaches, it offers a chance for all pupils to experience the exciting riding on the beach. With our 200 stall stables, track, arenas, and country fields and forests,we offer all disciplines of riding. With this, we welcome you to our fall semester.

Rules
First off, I must say, follow the site rules, because otherwise, I can't help you, break site rules, your banned from the site. So I wouldn't recommend it.
Then we get to this roleplay's personal rules:
All characters have to be between 15-18 at starting point
No ridiculous parties or rich people. Sure they were sent to the school because their parents are rich, but they live in the dorms.
This is a boy/girl school
When your character grows older, they can graduate and become instructors, get married, or have children.
No sudden visits to cities
Every weekend the well behaved students get to go into town to shop or mess around, but if you (your character) misbehave, then you (your character) looses privileges for a short period of time.
No 'detailed' sexual content
The horses are characters, but not...
No entery's from the horse's perspective
It's just like real life, you can work out things with other characters and breed your horses, etc.
Limit of people is three, not including their kids
Five horses per person

Riding Disciplines
Jockey (horse races)
Horse shows (rider is judged on form, style and ability.)

Dressage (involves the progressive training of the horse to a high level of impulsion, collection, and obedience.)
Show jumping (Colorful jumps in arena)
Cross country (jumps set up in the country)


Three day eventing (the italicized three above)

Hunt (jumping)
Saddle seat (used to show to best advantage the animated movement of high-stepping and gaited breeds)
show hack (featuring horses of elegant appearance, with excellent way of going and self-carriage.)
Barrel racing (three barrels, fast horse)
roping (roping steers)
harness (cart behind horse, racing)
polo (horse and stick)

Schedule:
6:00am- wake up call
6:30am- must be at dining room
6:30-7:00am -breakfast
7:05am- must be at barn
7:15am - your horse must be tacked
7:15-9:15- training
9:15- 10:00 commons for tea
10:00-11:00- free period
12:00-12:30 lunch in dining room
12:40- must be at barn
1:00- horse must be saddled and mounted
1:00-4:00 free riding period, work on what you want, ride to the beach, etc.
4:00- 4:30- must be cleaned up
5:00- 5:45 - dinner
5:45- 6:30- free time
6:30 - report to dorm
8:30- lights out

can ride, go to town, or compete

History: Felicity was born in Germany, growing up there until she was only a few months old. She was sent to America at the age of 5 years old to learn to speak english. Felicity is fluent in both languages now. She bought a beautiful gelding at auction one morning and took him home that very day. Felicity named the gelding Scout, referring to her brother who died at birth. She moved to this equestrian center to meet new people who love horses just as much as she does.

History: Anthony was born in Germany aswell, growing up with Felicity in America for a few years after being shipped there to learn how to speak english so he could get a good job and get a good life there. When Anthony was about 5 he moved to Scotland and grew up there, buying Sam at an auction and soon buying his own truck, a dark red Ford F-450. He got a good job working as a stable hand and he got even more money for winning so many barrel races. Anthony finally came to this ranch to live here for a while, making sure that he had everything he needed.

Kristi stared at the empty dorm room. It had neat little beds lined up, with one desk, one dresser, and one lamp for each. She had expected this much, but it felt so empty. At least she had taken all her belongings with her. She set her suitcase on the bed to unpack later and ran down to the barn to see Sparticus.

Ma'dam Equis, or Emily, as she was called looked out the window. Being the headmistress was a serious business, she would have to go down and see to her new students.

( Oh okay ) -

Felicity ~
She was driven to the center in England, taking deep breaths to get ready for her arrival at a new place. Her mother and father rode along with her. Making sure she arrived safely. The second driver was the one who was carrying Scout. Felicity was nervous. What would everyone think of her? When the car came to a stop she got out, the caddie getting her bags for her. Felicity looked around and smiled. Since her parents only understood German she could only speak in German around them, smiling she said Sehr schön, wie ich es bisher hier. It meant, 'Very Nice, I like it here so far. (I'll only talk in German when she's speaking to her parents, which won't be often and it will always have a translation)

(It's totally okay. It's kinda cool, German... hmm)

Kristi spotted Spartacus, or Sport for short, he whinnied and trotted towards her, dragging the groom with him. She smiled and took the lead from the flushing groom. She unclipped the lead and hung it on the fence, with a grin, she pulled herself onto his back and spotted a new arrival. She rode Sport towards her.

Emily walked down the stairs towards the door, she put a smile on her face and waited for a moment.

Felicity ~
A smile spread across her face, she glanced at Emily. Hoping not to be judged from where she came from, since England didn't like Germany to much. She spoke finally in english, having a German accent. I'm Felicity, this is my mutter and vatter (Mother and Father). I am the only one who can speak english so I'll translate. She smiled, she could hear Scout's low whinnies and when he pawed at the ground. She looked at the caddie and told him in german, Lassen Sie Scout aus seinem trailer bitte und bringt ihn zu mir. Danke. Which meant, 'Let Scout out of his trailer please and bring him to me. Thank you.' The caddie nodded and let Scout of his trailer, bringing him to Felicity. This is my horse Scout, my mutter Jemma and my vatter Bruce.

(Cool, my family is British and Norwegian)

Kristi smiled, a German! Maybe she'd teach her German! She spotted the headmistress and rode closer to everyone, Sport tossed his head and Kristi patted his side in reassurance.

Emily nodded. "I'm the headmistress, Ma'dam Equis, is what I'm known as, but you may just call me Emily." she said and offered her hand to shake.

Felicity ~
She smiled and took her hand in her in a friendly hand shake. She had a true smile and beautiful face. She urged her mother and father forward and translated what Emily had told her. Mutter, vatter. Sie sagte, sie ist die schulleiterin, Ma'dam Equis, ist das, was sie ist bekannt als, aber sie können rufen sie einfach ihr Emily. Her father smiled deep and shook her hand as did her mother. Felicity smiled deeply, happy to know that her parents had no problem with Emily so far. Scout looked over at Sparticus and nuzzled Felicity. I told them what you told me. She smiled and petted Scout.

Emily nodded, "Well, welcome. This is Kristi, our honor student of the spring. She is here on scholarship." she said, indicating to Kristi.

Kristi blushed and slid off Spartacus, she also sometimes called him Sparta. She held out her hand.

"I'll let Emily show you around, I can talk to your parents, I know German." Emily said.

Felicity ~
Nice to meet you Kristi She nodded with a smile, shaking her hand before walking around the 'campus' with Emily. She was so glad to be here, hoping she would find a good boyfriend by the spring so she could celebrate her birthday with her boyfriend. Felicity payed close attention to Emily's every word. She took a couple glances at everything. This place is very beautiful Madam. I'm sure I'll like it here very very much. She smiled bigger, her blonde hair gently getting carried in strands by the cool breeze that swept across her. She was wearing a white blouse with chalky white pearl earings shaped into hearts. She wore a silk skirt, lined in beautiful lace around the trim. She wore 6 inch heals, showing she could be fancy just like everyone else. Her hair drapped over her shoulders slightly and her eyes were almost a baby blue color.

Emily smiled, "Well, welcome. I have to get to my office. You can mess around or whatever until dinner." she said and left her.

Kristi rode over to Felicity "hey." she said, slipping off Spartacus .

Felicity ~
She nodded and took a glance at Kristi. She smiled and greeted her. Hi. She heard a car engine start and her parents walked over. They kissed her goodbye and they left. Felicity was glad to finally be out in the world on her own with Scout. She smiled bigger and patted Scout's neck. She leaned on her best friend and couldn't help but introduce herself once again. I'm Felicity, just incase you didn't catch my name the first time. And this is Scout. She smiled, Scout nodded his head up and down. He had a fancy hair cut. A short one. Felicity never let his mane grow any longer than 2 inches. About the length of an extra large paper clip.

Kristi nodded, "Kristi Johnson. This is Spartacus." she grinned and patted Spartacus's side. "What events do you ride?" she asked.

Felicity ~
I'm applied for Dressage and or Saddle Seat. She smiled proudly. She loved being infront of crowds, showing off the true beauty of her horse and of her. Felicity had a few bags she was holding, two big suitcases that had her name stiched into them in fine gold letters. She smiled and ran her fingers across her name. She looked at Emily. So you can speak German too? She smiled, hoping to become good friends with her. Felicity wished that her grandmother and grandfather could have seen what she had grown into but her grandfather has died in the war and her grandmother had died of old age.

"No, but I hope to learn. Here, want me to take one of those?" she asked, pointing at a suitcase.
